Didn't Jake Clemons tour with Eddie in 2011 as part of Liam Finn's band? (I know they were all at the Philly show together and played Springsteen's Drive All Night.) Honestly wouldn't surprise me at all to see him on a track somewhere. Maybe more likely an EV and Earthlings song though.

Skerik.  His work with Mad Season and Colonel Les Claypool’s Fearless Frog Brigade on the sax was deadly. He was undoubtedly mentioned before.

Change the name of the thread to say “wrecker will be PJs next single!”

PJ Harvey and Trent Reznor would have some opinions with the insinuations with this thread title lol. Saxophones aren't horrible just because Kenny G is.

not only do they not need a saxophonist, they need to drop the keyboardist. nothing against Boom or keyboards in general, I just don't feel it fits their music.
    I absolutely agree 100 % with this!

I too, feel Boom does not fit their music. Nothing against Boom, I'm sure he is a cool dude.
    agree

Love Boat Captain and several other songs would sound pretty odd without keyboards...

I'm catching this thread late and can't tell if this (adding a Sax) is a joke or not, but my Steelers just got crushed yesterday and I'm not sure I can take this news on top of it - please say it ain't so...for the love of god!

I do hate the keys on Save You. It's too rocky a song to have them-sound is already filled up. Love keys on other songs though.

Imagine the smooth sounds of a saxophone on that one though?

Enough about the sax. What are we thinking about the return of the harmonica?
Personally I love it during songs like Smile and Footsteps

Good God, please NO! As if that background singer experiment wasn't bad enough!

I thought this was about Josh, then I saw the comment was from 2010.

ANY song with a harmonica is okay in my book.

Combine the harmonica with a saxophone though? Orgasmic.
