Would be nice if we got a Super Bowl commercial announcing the new album
A 30-second ad costs $7 million. Not going to happen.
Just think of how many more PJ premium tickets they’d have to add to cover the cost of the ad. People with 5-digit member numbers would end up sitting in the rafters.

Maybe not a Super Bowl commercial but would be cool before they go into a commercial break during a replay montage they could play a few seconds off their new single.
Or yet .. during half time we all receive an email from pearljam.com with news of the new single.

Pretty much anything is better than watching most of those halftime shows...

They should have had Taylor Swift announce the new Pearl Jam album at the Grammys last night. Now that would have moved the needle.
IDK looking at the past decade, a majority of these were great

I agree with you in general, but not in the specifics. I loved Bruno Mars; Rihanna was meh. The Shakira/J-Lo one was the most surprisingly enjoyable.
Incidentally, I'm pretty sure that they were originally going to have just Shakira, Bad Bunny and J Balvin, and then someone said, "What about Jennifer Lopez?" The producer thought that might be too many people, but then someone pointed out, "There's always room for J-Lo!" (Rimshot.)
