    PLAY CINCY!!!!!!!
    I agree!

  • I just don’t understand playing Wrigley again when you were just in Chicago. Those shows could be used in Michigan and Ohio, with people from Chicago traveling to those areas. Fenway I get, it’s been 5-6 years since Boston had a show and you’re picking a big venue….still wish it was TD. Boston arena show is on my bucket list.
Philly is understandable since you only played one show, in Camden, 2 years ago (from the rumored ‘24 date). MSG is the same idea, one show, two years ago in the biggest metro area in the country.
I know 2023 was short but I’m just happy they got to Minny and Texas…with Indy in the original plans. Hoping they draw the straight line a little more east in 2025. Michigan - Ohio - Carolinas - Georgia - Florida.
Banff is on my list, and will be waiting for a Calgary show to make it happen.
    2003: Uniondale, MSG x2 | 2004: Reading | 2005: Gorge, Vancouver, Philly | 2006: East Rutherford x2, Gorge x2, Camden 1, Hartford | 2008: MSG x2, VA Beach | 2009: Philly x3 | 2010: MSG x2, Bristow | 2011: Alpine Valley x2 | 2012: MIA Philly | 2013: Wrigley, Charlottesville, Brooklyn 2 | 2014: Milan, Amsterdam 1 | 2016: MSG x2, Fenway x2, Wrigley 2 | 2018: Rome, Krakow, Berlin, Wrigley 2 | 2021: Sea Hear Now | 2022: San Diego, LA x2, MSG, Camden, Nashville, St. Louis, Denver | 2023: St. Paul 1, Chicago x2, Fort Worth x2, Austin 2 | 2024: Las Vegas 1, Seattle x2, Indy, MSG x2, Philly x2, Baltimore, Ohana 2 2025: Florida x2, Atlanta x2, Pittsburgh x2

Unsolicited personal recommendation: Don't wait. Book it and make it happen! Banff is beautiful!

I always wonder if Chicago is a result of the survey we took years ago….”how far have you traveled to see a show?”.  Maybe??? It is kinda in the middle of everything (US) . We’ve been to Wrigley every time and indoors last year for both shows….we just keep staying in different parts since the place is so big!

As a Michigander, i wholeheartedly agree! But, Chicago is a much easier city to travel to and stay in, plus it’s Ed’s hometown. And of course playing Wrigley instead of Comerica Park or Little Caesars Arena is a no-brainer. Hope they get to LCA someday though.

What did I sign up for?

     =)
  • Just booked everything but flights and a few activities for an 18 day trip in New Zealand and Australia.  Everything refundable though except a couple activities.  May try skydiving for the first time in Queenstown, NZ.   See one show in Auckland, Sydney, and Melbourne.
Skydiving is fun, done several tandem jumps.
Serious question...so as I've gotten older, I have definitely experienced an enhanced fear of heights.  However, I have a medical condition considered at this point in time "terminal" so I want to get out of my comfort zone and do as much as possible...I have considered sky diving but not sure.  What's it like and did you feel safe?

Arranged flight to Seattle this afternoon; my daughter and I had already booked flights to Alaska for our yearly "escape the Phoenix hell" trip, so I tacked on a few days to catch the shows. 🤞🤞
Banff is on my list, and will be waiting for a Calgary show to make it happen.
Sort out your itinerary way ahead of time - Banff is bonkers these days. Lots of places require advance booking (Lake Louise, Moraine lake, etc.).  Try the gondola, canoeing, backpacking, hot springs.

On our summer road trip this past year, my daughter and I stayed in Invermere, 2hrs away, but the drive was beautiful.

To address our housing crisis and homelessness in BC, including Vancouver, new laws are going into effect May 1st 2024. Short-term rentals, like AirBnBs, are illegal except in primary residences* $3,000 fine.

A large part of traveling to shows for me is seeing them in different venues and places and experiencing those cities that I otherwise wouldn't be going out of my way to travel to.  I will be less excited if the trend continues and I've checked the interesting (to me) places off of the list.
Same. I’ve seen them in every city on the upcoming rumored dates other than Portland.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

I'm sorry to hear about your terminal illness.

Re: Tandem jumps - Before the jump the instructor said his girlfriend packed the parachute so that made me feel safer. Having one foot in the plane and one foot out of the plane was the scariest thing ever! The instructor told me to arc like a banana and when we were Free Falling before the shoot opened, my helmet strap wasn't tight enough and it was hitting my face. I also had some fear going about landing and how we had to run when we hit the bottom. I was afraid of that too. It's not something I'd want to do again.

My little one might bungee jump off a bridge in New Zealand. I'm not sure I'm up for that!

One time at Pemberton someone did a skydive and landed in the grounds before the Pearl Jam show. That was cool. Do that if you're going to skydive!!

Or perhaps the legendary number combination 2/13 means that we have to fill 213 pages.

If Europe is usually 6-7 Months before than according to my math it should be announced this month right?

Yeah I guess, that could mean the end of January.  The 3 to 4 months US lines up with Feb.  Definitely an all at once tease though.

maybe 2/13 is the album and the tour is earlier haha.  Definitely all at once world tour though
