Just walked by the Vic on my way into work.....if you dont have tickets you better get down there NOW.....the line was already at least 100 deep, you wont even get close to the door, security was ordering a single file line, all the way down around the corner to Fletcher street and already under the "L"....

That's the line for people with tickets. The Jam Productions staff and security broke up the "ticketless" people line. No one can congregate in front of the venue.

PJ lines are very friendly. I have been on several and they are very cool. Remember the Riot Act Tour? Every show was a 10c line because of the member # block thing. Lots of shared food drinks and anything else you can think of!

I am sure, given the rough conditions today, we can expect the same.

It holds something like 1,200, although there may well be more tonight. Last show I saw at the Vic was DJ Shadow back in October, that show was not packed like this one will be. And to those in line already, you have much spirit and I give you props even though its kind of crazy!

Even if you got there after doors close you'd have a great view.

BUT...it's rather alot of fun to queue with other jammers :)

I think it starts at 7 or 8. No way that line is dissapearing anytime soon. It would take tear gas to break up that party....sbb

fuck that then. ill go home and eat and stuff and get there at 6 once they've started letting those with tickets in... that way i can just stroll right into the building. i figure if im not sitting right on the railing, id just as soon be chilling towards the back with a bit of space rather than getting bounced around in the middle of the floor anyway. the place is small enough ill be closer to the stage just by being in the lobby than i ever have anyway.

Just to clarify, the people who are lining up now already have tix, they are just lining up to get them and will be handed out at 4?

Then they will get their tix and get back in line and wait until 7 when the doors open?

And the non-ticket holder line has been broken up?

know what the funniest thing about this is.......all the guys are sitting in their air conditioned bus or in a nice restaurant eating while everyone is near death in this heat.

yeah, i dont get this. i recall they said they start giving out wristbands at 4, doors at 7, but i also coulda sworn they said once you have your wristband you have to go right in to avoid scalping?

I think they may actually put the wristbands on you. That's probably why they said that the 10C member who bought the tickets AND their guest needed to be together to get the wristbands.
