    edit: I would think the loser of OSU/ND can forget about the CFP. 
    I disagree.  If OSU loses a close one in ND, and then wins the Big 10 title, I think they are in.  That's unless you have a 3 other undefeated power 5 and ND at one loss.  I think that's unlikely. 

    By contrast I am feeling good about the Bucks.  McCord looked great in his first start where he was given the team.  The defense appears to be lights out, particularly in the back end.  The only mild concern is that Sawyer and TJ are not getting consistent pressure on the edges when the Bucks rush four.  ND has a very good offensive line so I think there will be a bunch of blitz packages.  That's not ideal, but probably the way they need to play.  Which means we'll see some squatting corners.

    As a defense, all you can do is beat the shit out of the teams you play.  We're three games into the year.  Tell me why you think our d is bad?  What metric are you using, or even using the eye test, what is wrong with the D?

    I tend to agree.  You don't build a program in one year let alone 3 games.  The depth is not there at Colorado.  They can't go toe to toe for four quarters.  That's my bet.

    My heart was stomped on by Clay Helton.  Not 100 invested in SC Football again.  Would take a Pete like run from the team to get me fully back in.  Flying to Boulder next week for the game with my buddies and wouldn't be surprised by a 101-100 loss.  This is what happens after years of defensive futility.
    Maybe this year can start us back on the path to second half adjustments turning into blowouts of good offensive clubs, only time will tell.
