The sitting presidential party hasn't had debates in years. I'm fine with that. It seemed to work until now. If there was a great upcoming dem that could get some serious support and pull some republicans and they got stonewalled by the DNC that would be a different argument. However, as of now that candidate doesn't exist. So I will do what I did last time and vote for the front runner of the party with a platform that will best help me and other Americans, based on results not boasts and hyperbole.
The Democrat party are keeping Joe on the ballot because if he announced he wasn't going to run, the next most logical choice would be Kamala and she is an absolute disaster.0 -

POOTWH didn't take office until 2019 and it generally takes at least a year for an administration's policies to have an effect upon and ripple through the economy. I would like to compare military losses under Biden and other presidents especially when undertaking major operations and see how he compares. For a war state like the US I am thinking 13 soldiers is an acceptable military loss from a strategic standpoint. It would be great if no soldiers ever died, but so far I don't believe a single CIC has been able to pull that off.

I would prefer not to vote and abstain this round, but unlike you I don't see Joe Biden as a terrible person that is destroying America. I did live from 2016-2020 and saw so many things I never thought I would see and such ugliness wash over the country that I just couldn't vote for the other guy if I was paid. Of course I didn't like him before he ever went down the golden escalator, I knew he was a blowhard conman from the start. If I thought Let's Go Brandon was even close to as bad and power hungry the other guy I wouldn't vote for him. The sitting presidential party hasn't had debates in years. I'm fine with that. It seemed to work until now. If there was a great upcoming dem that could get some serious support and pull some republicans and they got stonewalled by the DNC that would be a different argument. However, as of now that candidate doesn't exist. So I will do what I did last time and vote for the front runner of the party with a platform that will best help me and other Americans, based on results not boasts and hyperbole.

I think Biden did a great job. Could it have been better? Maybe, but as I stated 13 soldiers is a small butcher's bill when it comes to all of the previous military blunders in Afghanistan. I wonder how many more would be dead if we had just stayed the course for several more years and waited until we had a JB16057 approved plan with an acceptable number of withdrawal casualties. All dead troops suck, but that's the war machine, it is also part of the risk of taking that job, 13 Is also small potatoes in the larger Afghanistan picture especially considering that no more American soldiers will needlessly die over there and we won't be spending anymore billions. I can look at it like 13 soldiers gave their life so no more Americans would needlessly die over there and no more money would be wasted.
