Another day, another whistleblower....
But let's pull an interesting thread. This whistleblower confirmed that over the course of like 4 years, Hunter and his associates made $17MM in income from these businesses. Comer asked the question and he confirmed.
So here are the proper questions
1. How does this IRS agent know? Well considering he knew the exact number, it means it's on their taxes.
2. Why didn't Comer ask if they paid taxes on it? Strange isn't it, if they were doing something illegal to file the income and pay the taxes. But Comer didn't ask. I think we know the answer. They paid their taxes. There's no crime.0 -

Another day, another whistleblower....
not "another" just one now named who was previously anonymous. now the question for these 2 is really, just who at doj "slow walked" the investigation from its inception? who was ag at the time?

America doesn't have $39 Billion. We have to borrow that money to pay other debts. Our economy is not sustainable when all we do is dig a bigger hole in debt.

If you have trouble defending the guy you voted for twice, perhaps you should consider supporting someone who is not a threat to ending our democracy as we know it.Post edited by The Juggler onwww.myspace.com0 -

as far as debt goes, both parties contribute to that. Republicans only care about it when a dem is in the White House. Otherwise, it’s huge tax cuts for the wealthy, which add tons to the debt, while providing scraps for the middle class. Dems have a far better record lowering deficits than the gop does.
our military is damn expensive. Cut there and stop trying to pull PBJ sandwiches from the hands of poor hungry folks.0 -

The demagogues you support and defend with such passion and vigor are the ones driving our country into the ground.
“Tax cuts initially enacted during Republican trifectas in the past 25 years slashed taxes disproportionately for the wealthy and profitable corporations, severely reducing federal revenues. In fact, relative to earlier projections, spending is down, not up. But revenues are down significantly more. If not for the Bush tax cuts4and their extensions5—as well as the Trump tax cuts6—revenues would be on track to keep pace with spending indefinitely, and the debt ratio (debt as a percentage of the economy) would be declining. Instead, these tax cuts have added $10 trillion to the debt since their enactment and are responsible for 57 percent of the increase in the debt ratio since 2001, and more than 90 percent of the increase in the debt ratio if the one-time costs of bills responding to COVID-19 and the Great Recession are excluded. Eventually, the tax cuts are projected to grow to more than 100 percent of the increase.”
