I think Nurse is my first choice then Cassell.

I want to say Sam Cassell is best case, but my only fear there is that the assistant staff will stay the same and it will just feel too much like business as usual when what we really need is a complete culture change.

Sounding like a lot of insinuating that this is ultimately going to end up being D'Antoni. But I think I'd prefer Cassell and giving him a shot.

I don’t understand how D’Antoni would work with a team embiid is on. Seems like a horrendous idea

He'd definitely need to drop a few pounds and start doing wind sprints.

And reports are that KFC will opt out anyway (which is actually good news for Philly)

Travis Kelce said on their podcast he was at Game 6, eating Chickie's & Pete's chicken fingers or something. The ball went out of bounds and found him, and he played with it for a beat with his greasy fingers, then threw it back to the ref. And suddenly the Sixers couldn't shoot anymore. Of course Jayson Tatum presumably played using the same basketball, so there the whole story falls apart.

I don't want to see Harden anymore. And if we can dump Harris that would also be great.

Harden expected to go to Houston....what a blessing for you guys. I cant stand his game, its effective to a degree, but it gets exposed in big games

Plus, he's not getting any younger. His game has definitely slipped the past few seasons. he has flashes of the old Harden, but it's far from consistent, and only likely to degenerate further as time goes on.

The beard is a ploy...to keep defenders a few extra inches back....who wants to go up against that? Prob has a lil of last nights dinner in there

Without James Harden that series would have been the most embarrassing sweep in franchise history. We’d probably be talking about trading Embiid right now.

I mean it's all hearsay at this point, but regardless it's an inevitability he's opting out. That doesn't necessarily mean he's definitely going to Houston, but he's for sure opting out.

    I know I haven't read/heard he officially opted-out yet.

I guess the only way he doesn't opt-out if he doesn't think he can get a Multi-Year Deal? (If he does get a Multi-Year deal, it better not be from the 76ers)

I mean he doesn't opt out if he thinks he gets less than 35 (or whatever the amount is) in guaranteed money. But he's definitely getting at least that on the open market.

I think the best outcome for everyone would be for the sixers to sign him to a max deal (if he realistically gets it) and then do a sign and trade.

someone needs to explain a sign and trade to me.

I mean, I get that they sign him and trade him but the why? is what I don’t understand.
