Brendan and myself saw him on Sunday at Surfest having a whale of a time with MR, Occy, Luke Egan, and Simon Law during Occy's expression session
I've never met him but i've seen him surfing a few times down byron way, he is one of those surfers who just loves surfing and always has that stoked look on his face when he is surfing. The real surfers.

It was quite funny cos Brendan and myself were standing just above the showers. When the expression session finished they all came out of the surf, hugged Occy and made their way to the shower. A crowd of people followed them, waited for them to finish their shower and went in for autographs. They pushed their way past Egan, Law, Hoy and Occy and went straight for MR. Poor bastard looked so embarrassed. Here was this special occasion to celebrate Occy's career and all the kids wanted was MR's signature.
