Yeah, we were a part of that. We were all drinking out of solo cups (and all of age). Idiotically, one of my friends was taking a big pull off a bottle of tequila near the door of his car. But he was being discreet. Just so happened security was driving by and shut us all down and made us go in. They said that there had been a bunch of allegations of sexual assault at the DMB the weekend before and they had to crack down. Sucked.JimmyV said:
Kinda almost feels like Mansfield ruined a good thing with the crazy security taking everyone's booze in 2008. That was the end of that tour and PJ really hasn't played too many sheds since.CantKeepmedown said:It's been all arenas and ball parks for me since 2008. I'm hoping they do more sheds next year. Nothing like being on the lawn with 20+ of your friends rocking out. We used to have like 5-6 car loads going to Greatwoods in 98, 00, and 03. Miss those days.0 -

Night 1 was security like I have never seen there before or since. IIRC, Mansfield passed an ordinance against open containers which directly targeted Great Woods. The Sully and Murph security gang were confiscating everything. It was a mess.Merkin Baller said:

....whistles...that is fucked up. But at least they aren't selling for less than they sold to club members. Thanks for providing me the info. I thought for sure crazy bad seats would be closer to $100. If that is the cheapest seat in the house it looks like my PJ concert days are over.ryanphishes said:

Sigh. I miss the good ol' days. Merriweather in 2000 was my first ever concert and nothing like the sun setting on a summer night right as your favorite band takes the stage.JimmyV said:

Are you sure about that? It listed them as presales, and I'm pretty sure it said it ended in 3 days. I may be crazy, but for some reason, that's what I remember seeing.dmbolp said:
Before the sales started, for all shows, each idividual TM/LN show page said that both sales, VF and Premium, went until some time the day of show.StephanieL19 said:Question...
When does the VF end? When will tickets, if the show(s) do not sell out, be available to those of us who got waitlisted? Or does this all happen in May?
I just saw on the PJ website that Indy is sold out.
Ed Sheeran just announce small venues to go along with his stadium shows; this is what the Verified Fan Onsale looks like, selling until 2 hours after the show starts. I'm 99% sure this is what the PJ shows looked like before the waiting room opened up (not sure of the time of day cutoff), along with a section for PJ Premium, same dates/times. And now that I think about it, I don't think either mentioned "Presale".
See you at the Tabernacle!

I posted this on another thread but I’m hoping someone can explain it to me. Never got a verified code for Austin, just the waitlist. It’s been over 4 hours now since the sale started. Does anyone know if I’m going to get a code eventually? It doesn’t show sold out so doesn’t it stand to reason I should be given access to what’s left at some point? I’m sure there’s not many great seats left but I’m just trying to get into the building

In fact, I think that was the last time I was there. Almost went to Radiohead there in 2012, but couldn't for work reasons. Haven't been since and I don't miss it.0 -

Radiohead 2012 was awesome there. Somehow made it back to Cambridge before 1AM that night so we called that one a win.Merkin Baller said:

Waitlist usally means you're not ever getting a code, based on history. I'm surprised of the number of MSP folks who got codes after Waitlist. I've been on Waitlists and never got codes and FAN VERIFY tickets were still available day of showI need the light said:I posted this on another thread but I’m hoping someone can explain it to me. Makes no sense. I get all the other bs Ticketmaster pulls even if I don’t like it. It’s just crazy to me that people may be willing to give them money for tickets just sitting there but are just going to stay locked outdmbolp said:

It doesn't make sense when they drop literally 100s of great tickets a couple hours before lots of big stadiums shows start, like a million dollars worth, very few sell0 -
The outdoor venue is a big draw for me.I’ll be looking for tickets to make it work.0
