    listening to a spotify alternative 90's playlist, and one song came on I didn't recognize and really dig. It's The Riverboat Song by Ocean Colour Scene. Must be Canadian given that spelling.

    Both of their albums are great, but "Blending" is a no-skip record for me.  They sound like a mix of Oasis and hardcore and the result is amazing.

    They put an EP out in 2014 and debut album last year. Dave Bottrill produced and mixed the EP - there's some parallels to other bands and at times the singer is reminiscent of CC. Really digging both releases.
