    You enter for chances to buy tickets to shows you wish to attend. They randomly select entries and then you may or may not get picked. 
    You pre pay for the tickets (you card is on file) so if you are selected, you are buying the tickets. So only enter for shows you will actually attend. 


    EXCEPT...that last bit changed, didn't it?

    Fans now have the option of selling tickets they can't use, but ONLY via the Ticketmaster app and ONLY for face value. The downside is that you and your buddy (if you buy two) must go in at the same time.

    Try also being a fan of QOTSA and trying to make summer plans. They have been announcing shows 1-3 at a time. Today's announcement is the 3 date UK tour where I had to look up 2 of the cities because they are tiny (Halifax and Margate).
