I pulled a 2nd row single for Primus, 10th & 12th row singles for Tool, 5th row for APC. Those were incredible concert experiences I would have missed out on if I was hung up on not going alone.
as you said, when there have been assigned seats, I've gotten front centre where I never have going with others. and it's quite an experience.
big arena shows or stadium shows I'll go with my wife, if we're both interested. but not many these days that come here/I'm into.
100% to all of this. Going alone and buying single tix is just smarter, lol. I find myself in a pickle sometimes, like when a show I'm really excited about is announced and then a friend actually says to me "we should go to that", I'm like, ummmmm, yeeeaaaahhhhhh. Haha. Although in small venues I'm okay with wherever, so I can save those for tix with friends. Like the wonderful Commodore - I actually prefer the balcony at a table to the floor there, because the sound and view is so damn good there anyway, plus my friends love it.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0 -

I really like reading the UK on-line news, The Guardian, but I've also been feeling a bit irked by them lately. Nearly every day now, their front page has an article about and photo of Margarine Trailor Green. Let's see if that's true today...

I think you're forgetting actual swing voters. They truly don't align with either party and are politically ambivalent. Many of them have issues that matter to them, but they could be on either side of the aisle. Further, they may not be likely to vote in mid terms or special elections. So winning the EV at the state level can hinge on getting them to the polls on one of the issues that matter to them. Be it crime, abortion, gay marriage, etc. I think elections swing on turnout of those people, plus the #2 and #4 above.benjs said:
