I just finished reading this (mostly) excellent book.  The whole story is here and though it's not the best music biography I've ever read, I would definitely recommend it for Buffalo Springfield fans.
(A little side note and I don't mean to brag but it was cool- I got to run the main spotlight on Neil Young when the band played at our high school.  Pretty amazing that a band of this caliber sometimes played at high schools, bowling alleys, and such, but they did!  It's all in this book.  It was a blast being there!)
