This is more of the point I’m making. Why spend two nights in noblesville when other nearby markets could be more worth their while. That’s all. With that being said , I hope I’m wrong and I hope they spend a weekend in IndianaJimmyV said:How many shows they are willing to play and how many of those can be back to backs are more the issue than whether or not they will sell out.Noblesville 5.7.2010. Two nights in Houston would sell out regardless of tour size... without having to draw in people from every major surrounding municipality...Weston1283 said:Indy show would likely draw large crowds from Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Columbus, etc.... especially if there are no Michigan or Ohio shows planned. Two nights would sell just fine if the tour is small.
but hey, who am I to critique?
Given that we have two airports that are hubs for two of the largest airlines in america (United and southwest), and that we are within 3 hours drive of San Antonio and Austin, and 3-1/2 of Dallas, I'm betting you could do three sell outs no problem.... but hey... let's tour small markets in the midwest instead.
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.0 -
Or just play at the Moody center for 3 straight nights. Then have everyone from Dallas, Houston, SA drive to them.09/16/95, 09/16/96, 06/29/98, 07/02/98, 07/05/98, 09/08/98, 09/10/98, 09/11/98, 09/18/98, 09/19/98, 06/13/99, 10/30/99, 10/31/99, 05/29/00, 05/30/00, 10/14/00, 10/17/00, 10/18/00, 11/05/00, 10/20/01, 10/21/01, 12/06/02, 04/05/03, 04/06/03, 06/09/03, 10/22/03, 09/24/04, 05/12/06, 05/13/06, 05/27/06, 05/28/06, 07/22/06, 07/23/06, 06/11/08, 06/12/08, 08/01/08, 09/21/09, 09/22/09, 10/04/09, 05/03/10, 05/04/10, 05/06/10, 05/07/10, 07/02/11, 09/03/11, 09/04/11, 10/23/11, 11/15/13, 11/16/13, 10/19/14, 10/25/14, 10/26/14, 11/28/15, 04/23/16, 08/05/16, 08/07/16, 09/09/17, 08/18/18, 09/02/18, 09/04/18, 10/01/21, 10/02/21, 05/06/22, 05/07/22, 05/12/22, 05/13/22, 08/31/23, 09/02/23, 09/13/23, 09/15/23, 09/18/23, 09/19/23, 05/16/24, 08/29/24, 08/31/24, 09/15/24, 09/17/24, 04/29/25, 05/01/25, 05/16/25, 05/18/250

I could see them in Chicago but not at Northerly Island. It is too small. About 15,000 capacity. The United Center at around 23,000 would make more sense.0
-
If the tour is small.. maybe it's more like the 2018 tour with a few bigger highlight cities. Maybe we get some Seattle shows. If they're dropping a new album in the next year, if they don't play Seattle, I think it would be the first time Seattle misses out on a tour for a new album (ie if a new album comes out before they play Seattle again, then Seattle never got a Gigaton tour show).0

The lawn may be ok for PJ fans at other venues, this one will not. The lawn is not an option at this venue.Weston1283 said:

Yep, for some perspective, it’d be like being at the very back of the main stage field at Bonnaroo or back of Grant Park at Lolla.elvistheking44 said:
