I could see them in Chicago but not at Northerly Island. It is too small. About 15,000 capacity. The United Center at around 23,000 would make more sense.
From what I can tell on Google, 30K capacity for Northerly Island

The lawn may be ok for PJ fans at other venues, this one will not. The lawn is not an option at this venue.

Yep, for some perspective, it’d be like being at the very back of the main stage field at Bonnaroo or back of Grant Park at Lolla.
My assessment of the 82 pages is no credible rumors
The first credible post on the thread lol

I have faith in Facemeltor. Anyone with a screen name Facemeltor has to be credible right? He/she said east to west and northerly too. They had/have a hold on Northerly Island in Chicago.

They said that changed with hints of Minneapolis starting I thought.

Went back to look at exact post in question. Here it is below. Let’s hope they pivoted from Northerly to United Center but the Live Nation connection would make a lot of sense for Northerly despite the poor venue design.
Wish we knew the venue for the Minnesota rumor as that probably would give some clarity to arena/sheds mix or sheds only. Hard to say based on Noblesville only as that is the main place to play seasons permitting in Indianapolis area.

Minneapolis is now rumoured in early September. Chicago and Noblesville should be next. Northerly definitely has a hold or had a hold.
My Boston info was from awhile ago. It was either wrong or something changed when they went from two legs this year to one. No clue if it is getting a show now.

With bated breath we wait and wonder how far east this alleges east to west tour will go...
It really is crazy to think there maybe no Boston this year if there is a tour.
Longest stretch without a Boston show in the band's history.
If they don't play Seattle this year, I think it's also the longest stretch in Seattle without a show. Would also get close to the longest stretch without one in Vancouver (even if you include the Pemberton '16 show).
I get the feeling a lot of places are in this boat now :(
Possible for 2023: USA tour in August/September from the general areas of New England south of the Great Lakes up to Chicago and maybe north.
Not gonna happen in 2023: Europe, Australia, South America.
Probably won't happen in 2023: Canada.
...and when I say Canada, I mean multiple cities. But if they're right in the vicinity of Buffalo/Pittsburgh/Cleveland, then maybe Toronto might not be entirely out of the equation.
But I'd also think there's some financial/legal/accounting reason why multiple Canadian shows would make more sense than just one.

Agreed! I want to relive my memories from Augusta in '96.
