This is just the beginning of the "Yeah, but.." between Pierre and Trudeau.
Trudeau panders far too much to the far left via virtue signaling while behind closed doors being a huge hypocritical D-Bag and he'll get called out for it.
Pierre panders far too much to the far right via dog whistling while behind closed doors being a huge hypocritical D-Bag and he'll get called out for it.
In the end to me it boils down to the idea that both politicians are crooked, greasy, sniveling liars who will do or say whatever it takes for political power.
But if you're having to choose between a fellow who pretends to be nice to cater to those who want nice as opposed to someone who pretends to be an asshole to cater to those who are assholes... who is better in the long run? We have an example in the south in the form of Donald Trump who has essentially made it completely normal to be a super fucking doosh right out there in the open.Toronto 2000

Merry New Year!
This is reason 98 why I don't like and won't vote for Pierre. When asked about his thoughts on the F-Trudeau flags his response is that he doesn't like them and he doesn't like rage. OK, very nice. Good to hear! But then he pivots the answer to basically again blame Trudeau and the Liberals for our failing country. Doh.
First off... if you don't like the flags and you don't like the rage.. then your response to that question as a potential leader of our country is to suggest to all of those who are doing it... to remove them. Much like O'Toole had the courage to do. Nope. Instead... after condemning it, he then makes excuses for it.
"Why are people so angry?" Is his question in response to those who fly that stupid, embarrassing, and vulgar flag.
He says "They're hurting" and goes on to talk about the millions of Canadians who need a food bank.
He says people are asking to be killed because they can't afford to live.
He talks about the housing crisis and that 38 year olds are living in their parents basement.
He talks about the opioid crisis.
Here's the thing... the folks who are flying that flag... are not those people who are hurting. Not even a little bit. Pierre's response doesn't pass the sniff test.
They sure didn't look like they were hurting on their bouncy castles in Ottawa.
They didn't seem to have a problem camping for 3 weeks instead of working or doing literally anything to help with the aforementioned problems.
Most of the flags I see are on trucks that cost 80K or more.
Most of the flags I see are on HOUSES or attached to giant signs on acres of land.
My goodness Pierre... the yahoos raised MILLIONS of dollars for their 'cause.' So excuse me for pointing out how dumb your response was.
What's his response to THOSE people? And where is their anger coming from? That's a question I would love to see him navigate... because the truth is that HE is the reason for those people.
So get your head out of your butt good sir. And stop blaming and giving excuses. Instead, when you have an opportunity like that, explain what you would do differently and how you would combat those problems.
He blames the 'political elite.' You ARE the political elite sir.Toronto 2000

Lots to unpack with this one. The back story here is that there is a transgender shop teacher at a high school in Oakville who either used or is still using very, very, very large prosthetic breasts during classes.
I'm not 100% sure what to think about the teacher at this point. I would love to get her point of view and what not, but that's none of my business in many ways. My opinion here is that the teacher really really really ought to have known that this choice of hers would cause great disruption and distraction to the school and the teachers. Transgender or not... that's just a stupid decision by a person of influence.
That said... as we usher in an age of tolerance and acceptance we do in many ways need to get used to this. As we navigate what's 'acceptable' we should be open to denying certain rights and freedoms as I've pointed out before. Where this falls... I don't think we know yet. But I do know that if a teacher... gay, straight, male, female, trans were to attempt to run a classroom in their underwear... that would not be accepted. Why is that? It's possible that when we debate the rationale behind that point, we might find similar rationale in arguing that a trans person should not be wearing those massive breasts in class. I don't know if that makes me sounds like an asshole... happy to receive feedback.
With regards to the protesters.... Wow. Just wow. Obviously I don't agree with everything a lot of these morons are doing but what I found somewhat hilarious are the two male protesters against the 'fake news' and threatening the media. That's not freedom. Your freedom to stand on the sidewalk and shout stuff is the same freedom that allows the media to do what they're doing. "Get out of here!" "You don't belong here!" "We don't want you here!"
Freedom for me, not for thee. And yes... these were indeed the same people who are Freedumb Convoy fanatics.I actually have to see these "massive" breasts before forming an opinion. Just how massive are they? If they are at all within the realm of "could be natural on someone born female", then they should be fine. And natural breasts can come in VERY large sizes. But if we're talking about those insane inflated breasts that you see in certain novelty porn flicks, where they are like 4 times the size of a person's head or whatever, and it's just basically a freak show, then that's another matter, lol.I can definitely say one thing though: that cow speaking on the microphone is just awful and a bigot. She calls a transgendered woman "he", and she's babbling about indoctrination. Like, fuck off lady.

Convenient that the PM’s out of the country (again?!?) on the day this deal is announced. I doubt he’ll face any questions about this down in Mexico, but it will be interesting to hear him justify his about-face on this given his comments (and platform) that stated repeatedly that the F35 would NOT be bought under his governance.
The National Post is reporting that the overall cost will be $70 billion, not the $19 billion the government is putting forward. It’s also disappointing that none of the several sources I read included a comparison with the projected costs under the Conservative deal that was scrapped.

I don’t really want to comment on how they identify (it’s entirely possible they see themselves as being well (overly?) endowed), but I do strongly feel that the attire was inappropriate, especially given stories of students being sent home while similarly dressed. I honestly can’t recall any of my public school teachers showing up dressed like that.
(Again, how they identify is not the issue here for me, it’s the fashion choices in a professional setting that troubles me. To this point I haven’t really commented in part because I don’t have kids at all, but if I did I admit this would trouble me to some degree. I have no problem with them dressing like that in their personal time (like the picture where they were skydiving that was circulating).)"The world is full of idiots and I am but one of them."

Actually something that I haven’t actually seen anyone anywhere mention is the hair. The second they walk into shop class it should be tied back for simple safety. I don’t mean this as a joke but the prosthetics could serve as a safety lesson as well."The world is full of idiots and I am but one of them."

They as much a part of her body as any breast implant is. Yes, it's a part of her body. If it's in your body, it's a part of your body (and let's hope everyone agrees, for the sake of the pro-choice argument!!).

I have no problem with them dressing like that in their personal time (like the picture where they were skydiving that was circulating).)What's wrong with the attire? Long sleeved shirt and mid-thigh shorts? Seems fine to me for shop class. The fetish tits are a problem... I do get why this is a problematic situation though. I mean, legally, she probably has a really good argument. Even the moral argument has legs... I do think it's inappropriate, but then again.... it is a part of her body. Probably no more distracting than a super deformed face would be. I get that many have a problem because they think the tits are sexual... but seriously, who looks at that person and has sexy feelings? LOL.
Actually something that I haven’t actually seen anyone anywhere mention is the hair. The second they walk into shop class it should be tied back for simple safety. I don’t mean this as a joke but the prosthetics could serve as a safety lesson as well.
I mean yeah, and safety aside, the hair is easily the second worst looking part of that person - it really stands out and inappropriately bad hair, haha. Also, fwiw, shorts are not the same as a skirt as far as length goes.

I was avoiding commenting on whether or not they’re attractive simply because while I don’t find them desirable, I honestly hope for their sake (and I believe this to be a truth) that someone out there does find them appealing. One person’s trash is another’s gold, after all."The world is full of idiots and I am but one of them."

They as much a part of her body as any breast implant is. Yes, it's a part of her body. If it's in your body, it's a part of your body (and let's hope everyone agrees, for the sake of the pro-choice argument!!).
