So now OPEC has cut production in a move to support Russia and damage Democrats just before the election. Please tell me I didn't wake up and it's just a nightmare!"It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0

I’m more worried it’s because they are convinced a recession is imminent and demand is about to tank.
Helping Russia/hurting democrats is possible too as in the short term prices are absolutely going up. Maybe that’s just an added benefit0 -

politics seems to be getting more and more difficult to predict. Walker got on Fox News to deny the accusations and said he didn’t know the woman
The woman is the mother of one of his other kids, that made her come forward publicly

It's certainly to help Russia, generate higher revenue and in anticipation of a recession. I don't think it's about mid terms though. Foreign policy is the executive branch, period.static111 said:

Yes foreign policy is under the purview of the executive branch, but in the case of foreign nations wanting to influence US elections so as to limit the power of unfriendly Executives and install more friendlies at the legislative level - some of whom could go on to future executive positions- I think that OPEC+ nations and business partners have a good reason to help bring about "illiberal democracy" in the USA. And of course their strongest lever of power is influencing energy prices.mrussel1 said:

Generally dividing us is a goal right there. Tipping the scales one way or another does help, surely
chaos, non functioning government etc is just as advantageous as putting your person in power
minus Trump’s stance on NATO I would say Russia benefitted mostly on the lowered standing of the US. We looked awful on the world stage. Russia comparatively improved their own standing as they aren’t the main dumpster fire
domestically in Russia or China it plays well if you can point to a failing democracy. People don’t then want one to some extent or at least that’s the hopePost edited by Cropduster-80 on0 -

What was that again about what you get when stupid people vote in primaries? You’re watching the slow motion car wreck of American democracy. Keep that passport handy and up to date, you’re going to need it. From WaPo:
A majority of Republican nominees on the ballot this November for the House, Senate and key statewide offices — 299 in all — have denied or questioned the outcome of the last presidential election, according to a Washington Post analysis.
Candidates who have challenged or refused to accept Joe Biden’s victory are running in every region of the country and in nearly every state. Republican voters in four states nominated election deniers in all federal and statewide races The Post examined.
Although some are running in heavily Democratic areas and are expected to lose, most of the election deniers nominated are likely to win: Of the nearly 300 on the ballot, 174 are running for safely Republican seats. Another 51 will appear on the ballot in tightly contested races.

I guess I'm reading to much news again. One day it's looking good for Dems in November, the next it's not. It's a topsy turvy world! To me that’s the bellwether if it’s going to be a wipeout across the boardIf Hershel Walker wins I will do one of two thing:-Laugh cynically-Puke massively
How's this for starters?
Probably a plywood type material made of alternating layers of neutronium and duranium. Anti-grav boots help as well!
