Jim’s sucks…it’s for the people who want to sound cool and recommend something different from pats and genos

My favorite thing about Jim’s…Once upon a time 2 am on on south st wasn’t the worst..though it was always bad

Nah it doesn't suck. It's not the best, but it's far from sucking.

My buddy smashed their window in about 20 years ago after they refused to serve him. Fun times. lol

Nice! Circles + Squares (same as Pizza Plus) just reopened and they are doing steaks now too. Much closer to my neighborhood so I’m pretty pumped about it.

Wife's at the Brandi Carlile show, running solo with the kids, so of course I did delivery and completely unhealthy. First time trying out Woodrow's. That's their cheese steak, roast pork, and Italian hoagie. The best of the three I think is the hoagie imo, though I don't know if I'd call it an "Italian". Followed by the cheesesteak, which was equally delicious. They use their own homemade version of whiz which is fantastic. Roast pork was underwhelming, nice amount of spice to it though.

That Italian sub looks so good.

a philly cheese steak should not be particularly appetizing looking, right? they oughtta look like steak and cheese vomit. the steak should be pulverized. well, in vegas, there were many places that grasped this concept. in salt lake, there’s only one place I’ve found. everyone else SLICES their meat. not right. :nuh_uh:

Foodiehall in Cherry Hill will be serving Geno Steaks this Fall.

I'm not too far from there but Geno's DOES NOT CHOP their steak. I don't like SLAB steak, so no thanks.

I saw something on YouTube where a guy from Bon Appetit did like 18 cheesesteaks in 24 hours. Aside from that being gross, he referred to a good steak having "ribbons" (not chopped), and that Geno's had "full" ribbons. He instantly lost all credibility.

I can understand not wanting a fully chopped steak but the slabs at Geno's are gross imo.

I remember about 10 years ago or so we had a Pearl Jam meetup there. It was pretty fun. I think the owners are Pearl Jam fans.

Has anyone had a Cheesesteak at this place?

New Deptford Mall eatery says they have 'No. 1 cheesesteak in the world'

    Anthony V. Coppola
    Cherry Hill Courier-Post

DEPTFORD TWP. - There's a new eatery in town that claims to make the "No. 1 cheesesteak in the world."

Diners can decide that for themselves if they pay Charleys Philly Steaks a visit.

The Ohio-based franchise opened its fifth South Jersey location this month at the Deptford Mall.

The restaurant is not new to the shopping scene, as it has spots in the Cherry Hill and Moorestown malls as well. Charleys also has restaurants in Egg Harbor Township and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

The Deptford Mall location opened Sept. 14 and offers different varieties of beef and chicken cheesesteaks, loaded gourmet fries and real fruit lemonades, according to spokesperson Maggie Mackie. She said the restaurant will employ around 15-20 people.

Charleys was founded by Charley Shin, who tried his first cheesesteak while visiting Philadelphia in 1985. He subsequently opened a cheesesteak shop near the campus of  Ohio State University while a student there in 1986.

Charleys Philly Steaks now has more than 220 franchisees and 700 locations in 46 states and 17 countries, according to its website.

The Deptford restaurant is located at the mall food court and is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
