At least he didn't get 61 (and possibly 62) against the Red Sox. Which is shocking with a 4 game series and some of the meatball throwers the Sox trotted out there.
The local calls were fine. I'm just glad it was done on a local TV game and not on something like Apple-TV, whose announcers are not good.

That call was a bit rough, he is definitely self indulgent, but he’s been known to stay quiet in bigger moments, at times at least
Then illegal pitch. just semantics on terminology. Can call an illegal pitch and credit the batter with a ball. That motion looks illegal to me (different from what Tiant used to do) but must have been within the rules.
