  • Wanted to mention, that was the best Wash I’ve heard since pre-2010. Eddie killed the ending

Show #30 for me and the first time I had no new songs (except RRHOF).  I can’t imagine another band where that’s possible.  Got some of my favorites with Leash and Inside Job and was so excited I scored pit tix.  Can’t wait til the next one.

old and chances are have to work the next day or get back to the kids that night.  Josh finished his set at 8, why wait until 9:15 to start the show?  Let’s get going at 8:30 or even 8:45!
Oh yeah, and the pit was waaaay packed.
i'm guessing the band was waiting for more people to get in the venue and their seats.  $hitshow outside if you got to the venue after 630 pm with traffic and parking

There was absolutely no coordination among police, venue staff, and parking lot staffs as far as directing cars. If I had known to go to the lot beyond the bridge in the first place, I would have gotten inside the venue 20-30 minutes earlier. As I was circling around I passed several parking garages that were closed, I guess they are only for the daytime businesses. Yes, parking far away did have the benefit of getting out of the neighborhood quicker.

Was that really only the 11th Camden show? Two shows each in 98, 00, 03, 06, 08? Feels like it's been more.

    Nevertheless, it was awesome.

That encore took a great show to the next level. Crowd was louder at msg for sure but that could just be the venue. Everyone seemed to be standing and way into the show. EV mentioned the msg show and you can tell that’s one everyone in the building will remember forever , including the band. Even Josh mentioned it during the opening set!

Would of loved leash after alive with all the lights on but who cares! What a fucking setlist. The tour seems to be getting better with every show. I wouldn’t worry if I was going to the next few

I want to thank PJ for not giving the Balt people first shot at this show...

Glad everyone enjoyed it.  I'll enjoy the boot!
People are still on this? Lol.

They’ll give Baltimore people a chance when they play Baltimore. Contrary to what this board would have you believe, not every 10C member travels 2+ hours to go to shows. Would be unfair to those people who actually live in Baltimore.
Exactly right. And I had GA tickets for that show.

I was on the rail by the steps by Mike where he and Ed would come over a lot. The venue security guard told me and again these are his words, that the band wanted to go on around 8:45 but there was some wiring/electrical problem on Mike's side of the stage and that is what caused the delay

  • Parking at Camden now definitely worse than a few years ago.  A lot more new construction buildings/condos along the waterfront just south of Ben Franklin Bridge now.  That area used to be a ton of easy to access parking near the baseball field.  Now seems like its moved a lot of the parking over to the north side of the Ben Franklin Bridge.  Only took me ~30 minutes longer to get from last notes of MSG show to my home in PA side of Philly burbs Sunday than it did from Camden last night.
Agree with others that band likely delayed start of show another 10-15 minutes given lines getting into parking lots, venue, and reserved sections.  Saw some people having hard time with the ticket/barcode checkers at the reserved section doors.  With the non-transferable "tickets" looked like some were getting hard time if the screenshots didn't look great.

Last night was show 70 for me and was thrilled to get SOLAT for it. Hadn't seen the band since 2016 which is the longest I've gone without a show since I started going to shows. Crowd by me was great. I can't really jump as much anymore after some knee surgeries but was rocking out as hard as I could. Venue security was really helpful and friendly and kept bringing water out to the Pit as it got really hot down there. Wash Oceans were just tremendous as an opener and hearing HTI brought back memories of my first show at Camden in 98 when it was the first time I had ever heard that song and just going nuts on the lawn for it. Got a pick and high fived Mike and touched his guitar which was pretty cool. Kinda new they were going to play MFC for Matt Cord even if they didn't mention him because for years he was the backbone of playing PJ on Philly radio and that's his favorite song and he's friends with the band and it rocked. Seeing Mike go off on Eruption is always amazing. But that encore with Inside Job, SOLAT, Breath, Crazy Mary and Leash run was amazing and just reminded me why after following the band for years I still look forward to the next show I can go to because you never know what's going to happen and it's sure not to disappoint. Just a great, fun show and can't wait for the next one.

That too is my understanding of the late start, sorry I missed seeing you (and your son!!!).  We took PATCO and had no issues but did see the traffic mess walking to the venue.  But damn, it was a late start for sure, making for a very late night.
  • What a show, loved the contrast between the MSG set and this, incredibly fortunate to go to both, each were all-time greats for me in their own way. I've been to Camden for other shows several times over the years, but never seen it that packed/that loud, and same with MSG, even with all the cell phones in the air, the band really looked like they were having a blast these past 2.

Was at both MSG and Camden, and you cannot compare an indoor MSG experience to an amphitheater, there is no energy like MSG, and without a roof you are not going to get the same contained energy. That said, both were incredible shows in their own ways.

As for Camden, this isn't early 2000 when they were playing there for the first time, yet traffic/access seems to be a surprise every time... if you look at a map there is clearly a river on one side of the venue, one bridge within a mile with two exits that feed directly into traffic lights and downtown Camden, one highway with only 2 exits that even remotely feed into the Waterfront, and almost no way to get close/quickly to the venue once traffic builds... if you park in a lot close to the venue, after the show you are likely 1) trapped in the lot, and 2) stuck in a LONG line of traffic to get back to the bridge or highway... the farther you park from the venue, the better you are set up for getting out... other than my first show there, I have parked on the street, about 5-6 blocks way (4th and Federal last night, $5.50 for the meter), never had a car break-in or problem, and always got in and out in 5-10 minutes.

Also, my first time on the lawn since the 7/5/03 "early RITFW during July 4th Fireworks show" and the crowd was partying hard and fully charged throughout the show... it was a great time, and I am super thankful I get to see these guys play, and gladly will listen to whatever songs they choose to play... none of us are getting younger, and you never know what show will be the last...

Anyone here have the sign that Ed was writing all over. He was kneeling on the floor near Stone writing all over it. Just wondering what he wrote if anyone here knows.

I purchased the premier parking. The reason why it took me so long to get in is because I was directed the wrong way TWICE. Now I know where to go so that won’t happen again.  I left as soon as Rocking started and was out of the lot and on my way home in no time.

I had the same issue getting to the premier parking, got turned around twice. We also left on the first notes of Rockin and got right out of the lot, likely saving 45+min!

2nd time seeing them at Camden. Both times opened with Wash. Both times they played Leash. And somehow this is like my 4th or 5th time seeing Hard To Imagine in just 16 shows. State & Breath back to back was absolutely killer. I wouldn’t have minded another Gigaton song or two but totally happy with the ones they played! What an overall incredible setlist and energy thru the entire night! Couldn’t ask for a better 1st show back!!

Great show. It was even better than it looks on paper. Before Hard to Imagine Ed said something to the effect of "this is the last sit down song before we blow this place up" or something like that. He wasn't kidding. The first 12 songs were perfect. Only lull was Retrograde, but it still sounded great. Mike was on fire last night and Eruption was awesome. The band had so much energy, like they were on mission to bring the rock! When I took my even flow break, I was able to grab a drink and get back to my seat without waiting, dudes in our row even commented "well done gentlemen." The rest of the show was electric. Untitled MFC Not for You had that classic PJ feel. The rest of the show just flowed beautifully and that encore was amazing. Again old school feel with SOLAT, Breath, Leash. Hell yes!

Had a great Italian dinner at Carollos in Moorestown and then took PATCO down to Camden. Around 7:40 the trains were backed up and we had to get off two stops before the venue.  No issues for us but what a zoo! It was a crazy scene. No lines getting in, no ridiculous lines for drinks (crazy expensive) and great reserved 10C seats. Thank you! Could not have gone smoother for us. I did have an issue with the ticket master app which seems to have gone down when I tried to get back to my seats during my break. Luckily tickets in the wallet worked. Just when I start to think the setlists are boring or that I am getting too old for this, they go and blow me away.

EDIT: We left right as RITFW started without a plan to get back to NJ. As soon as we cleared the venue we found a gypsy cab that took us back to NJ. Probably saved us a couple hours standing around waiting for Uber.

What a setlist...I do think the energy at Sunday's show was a bit better, but this setlist blew me away.  Finally got Untitled/MFC, heard Inside Job for the second time, third Oceans.  Eddie was loving it.

I said it after Sunday, but if the band can bring more energy with shorter sets, then I'm all for them.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

What a great time!  Just got back home in Fredericksburg, VA.  Love going into a show with tempered expectations and being blown away.  Got two of my most wanted, MFC and Leash.  Met a couple of great people, JP and Jack, which was nice since I ended up solo the whole trip.  Most of my pics came out crappy, not sure why I bothered.  LOL.
