    If you haven't read the New Yorker piece on POOTWH and General Milley that mrussel linked to the other day, you should. I read the print version last night and its complete madness. POOTWH is not stable and he's not a genius. He has no business being anywhere near the Oval Office.

    It made me think that there really needs to be a Blue Ribbon Commission of physicians created in order to evaluate POTUS candidates for fitness for duty, inclusive of physical and mental health evaluations (they are CIC and many military and civilian jobs require physicals and maintenance of good health). Create a pool of doctors in certain fields, 5 in each specialty, chosen by leadership of each party, make them known as nominees but have them serve staggard terms and when its their turn to assess, you don't know who it was, just one of the 5 from each party, 2 for each assessment category and they issue a joint report. GP, Cardio, Psych, Internal, Neuro. Candidates to participate in debates and be on the ballot would need to disclose the findings, in generalities or with a score. When elected, it would be an annual requirement of the office and as CIC. Create an appeals process and have everything as transparent as possible but also protecting patient privacy/confidentiality. Maybe even throw in a multiple choice general world knowledge exam about world history and past/current policy/events, categorized by topic.

    Never again should there be anyone even remotely resembling POOTWH in the Oval Office. Ever.
