Im not really a Vegan!! :D You made me think think you were banned for a year (yes, I admit, I am gullible!) so I thought id retaliate...:p

Can you even get Dairy-free cheese?

Cheese slices haven't got any dairy in them. I think they're 100% plastic ;)

and do you pass this onto your kids.....I mean, are they allowed/fed meat?

    Just curious :)

Yeah, Kaine and the kids are BIG steak eaters and would eat it every night if they could! Usually is about twice or three times a week they have red meat.
Generally we'll eat the usual family meals like Chicken and Leek pie and Pumpkin Soup, Tuna Patties with rice etc...but when I get them a steak i'll just have everything else but.....you know?
Its dead flesh  and when I see the blood and skin I freak out...its been very progressive for me to be like this...this time two years ago it was all red meat for me...but when I was working as a Vet Nurse, I helped with two sheep autopsies in one day and it was very sickening.
Ultimately, thats what turned me off.

I loooove meat....last night I was craving meat so made us steak, bacon and egg burgers with onions and bbq sauce on fresh bread rolls. DELICIOUS!!!

My sister, Anne, only ate chicken and fish for 10+ years and the doctor said she was low in iron and if she's thinking of having kids, she should 'try' to introduce some more meat into her diet. Six months later and she's hooking into bacon and egg mcmuffins, eating beef curries etc...I am still shocked!

Strange how it happens like that. My friend has been turned off meat for about a year now. She was travelling overseas and ordered pork ribs and she said this MASSIVE bowl of ribs came out that stunk like rotten meat....and she tried to eat them and just couldn't because of the smell.

Now she struggles when her husband cooks lamb roasts etc because it reminds her of the ribs. She'll eat a bit but easily gets turned off by the faintest off smell.....and now the "off" smells are just in her head. She thinks heaps of meat smells off when it smells and tastes fine. The smell is just stuck in her head!!! :o

Dip them in some sauce and close your eyes. ;)

I can see what you're saying though...I've had this discussion with Anne soooo many times. And I can sit there and think of what we're eating in detail and think "gross" eg stringy meat and tendons and skin and fat etc and actually start to feel a bit yuck from thinking about it too much....and then 5 minutes later my mind shuts off and I go eat some crackling. Weird.

I keep thinking about this new album and what it'll be like.

    What are you expecting, Brendan?

I'm seriously thinking it'll be back to Vs type of album....a good mix.
I also think they'll be aiming for a few releases from it....ie some more radio friendly songs. 1) to get more album sales. 2) to get more known outside the die hard fan base.

What does everyone else (except fishy who'll just say it'll be shit  ;) )expect this next album to be like.

To be honest (and whether it makes any sense) Im expecting something in the style of the last. A few harder songs and a few more 'experimental'. When I say experimental I mean Parachutes and Inside Job. Maybe I should term them 'different'

As much as Parachutes is strange/different, I must admit it is a good track, very well put together. There is always gonna be the heartbreaker aka Come Back.

As much as its a pretty simple song - I just love the hard style of Comatose so hoping for a few of theses (may go with your Vs call).

The first release will be a WWS/Life Wasted rocker and I totally agree there will be a few 'radio/friendly hits'

I really hope they pull off another Marker - that song is still brilliant. Stood the test of time for me over the last two years.

Sorry to ruin the new album for you all!!!!!!!

LOL! You haven't ruined it at all.......I just wanted to hear everyone elses thoughts on it :)

Maybe my call on it being more like Vs, was more hoping, seeing as though I love Vs so much....but I've been thinking about it alot and stand by my prediction :D

I wish they'd hurry the feck up and just put me outta my misery

I might even be so bold as to say it could be a TEN style album....

    :

Nope too old, too experimental, too artsy fartsy. Will never get a hard album the whole way thru.

    Would be nice tho

This is the dictionary meaning and to be honest it lacks a little of the punch I was using it for:

any nasty substance, as in the belly button or between toes.

Now try to use your brain for once and not your trashy mouth and tell Maritime and I what you think the new album may be like. Or at lease what you wish for.

    Stella. DVDs?

That's nothing on what Tig calls me!

I have no idea what it will sound like....I hate hypotheticals....

What I hope it sounds like is fully rocking with no slow crap on it! :D
