It's funny that when actors die their career seems to be analysed through 'rose tinted glasses'. Heath Ledger's career was full of shit movies. In fact I'd say his performances were 20% good and 80% shithouse.
Still a crying shame he died so young, but the fact is that even though Heath's role in The Dark Knight is said to be fabulous, I'm extremely put off from seeing this movie because 'Heath hype' has overshadowed the movie0 -

I just loved him in Brokeback Mountain....I never mentioned his other movies. I only own Brokeback Mountain....others are okay. Suppose that's why he was nominated for an Oscar for his Ennis Delware role...because it was perfect.
But if he can do what he did in Brokeback Mountain to his Joker character (and I don't mean turn him gay), it's going to be awesome!

Gay Joker??
I wasn't aiming my view at anybody in particular, it just seems that the general consensus after his death was that he was an absolutely brilliant actor. Whoever came up with that notion obviously never watched his performances in Blackrock, A Knight's Tale, The Brothers Grimm, Casanova and Ned Kelly0 -
Off the subject a little....but I am looking to get into Vinyl, and need to purchase a Record Player...can anyone give me any advice as to what I should be looking for and what is the general price of these?
Brands? Styles?
Are the older style ones still good to use or am I better off trying to get something more modern?"....and was very surprised to see that he didnt actually have a recipe for anus-ankle soup." - Big Ed0 -

Yeah....those performances were average. But when I watched Brokeback, I was SHOCKED at how good he was.....maybe he was holding back or something in previous films but he rocked in that movie. And just when he gets GOOD he dies.
A gay joker would be funny....he's really IN LOVE with Batman....and wants his babies!★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★

I saw a Sony record player in JB Hi-Fi the other week for $110. That seems to be the standard price nowadays unless you want a kick arse DJ style one. If so then expect to pay 3-4 times that much0 -

I think half his problem was that he would take near enough any role that came his way, bad or good, just to be noticed for any future movies that were more to his liking.
To be honest, the Joker has always been a bit 'camp' anyway0 -

Nope. Still waiting for the DVD to come out. I wonder where all the filmed footage of those shows went? :(Sydney, Australia - March 12, 1998; Sydney, Australia - February 14, 2003; Sydney, Australia - November 8, 2006; Sydney, Australia - November 25, 2006; Brisbane, Australia - November, 2009; Gold Coast, Australia - January, 2014, Gold Coast, Australia - November 20240 -

Nope :(
The only professional camera footage I've seen from the Oz 06 tour was from the Newie show that got shown on the news. They refused to let us have a copy of the 3 songs they filmed due to copyright infringements :(0 -
I doubt the footage from Acer was actually recorded on to a medium. I reckon they just shot it through the cameras without recording0

Bummer.
Not even a dodgy dvd was done for any of the concerts. Or at least that I know of. And all those camera's too...what a wasteI'll ride the wave where it takes me.0 -

I'm assuming all the stuff which was shot through the cameras at the Sydney shows was just for what they were showing up on the screens at Acer Arena.Sydney, Australia - March 12, 1998; Sydney, Australia - February 14, 2003; Sydney, Australia - November 8, 2006; Sydney, Australia - November 25, 2006; Brisbane, Australia - November, 2009; Gold Coast, Australia - January, 2014, Gold Coast, Australia - November 20240 -
I thought some Australian concert footage was going to be on the Immagine in Cornice DVD. :(Sydney, Australia - March 12, 1998; Sydney, Australia - February 14, 2003; Sydney, Australia - November 8, 2006; Sydney, Australia - November 25, 2006; Brisbane, Australia - November, 2009; Gold Coast, Australia - January, 2014, Gold Coast, Australia - November 20240

PJ's management probably knows where it is. Maybe we should contact them and demand it for ourselves.Sydney, Australia - March 12, 1998; Sydney, Australia - February 14, 2003; Sydney, Australia - November 8, 2006; Sydney, Australia - November 25, 2006; Brisbane, Australia - November, 2009; Gold Coast, Australia - January, 2014, Gold Coast, Australia - November 20240
