    Can’t get over this. Such a crap move from the band. I know it’s not the end of the world but not something id expect from this band. They knew he wasn’t going to be able to sing...come on now

    People would complain if they weren’t selling merch too because obviously people are still buying it. It’s a no win situation.

    Assuming they tour Europe again, I assume they’ll let all the fans who’ve been let down this time skip the ballot and offer them tickets? Or isn’t that how loyalty works these days?

    It would’ve been nice to know first and then start merch. Loads of people would still buy but at least they could’ve made an informed decision. I would’ve saved 35€ on the event shirt

    You are 100% right but they would’ve sold a lot less if they let people know there was no show, that’s what makes it so bad

    This is it.  You give people the chance to rock up and buy the merch by all means, but knowing that they're not going to a gig.  If the band/management know they're not playing there is definitely an element of cynicism to it.
