Yeah its nice tho but a totally different feel. Theye never get rid og the old clietelle.....nice attempt but they wont. Did you eat there???? Ive only been in there 3 or 4 times.

Didn't eat there just had a beer. .. the whole place was packed as they were having some dance music thing later on in the day.
I miss the beer garden too and nearly cried when I saw that the old Sands was in the first stage of demolition. Had a nice swim yesterday though.

Me either. Was a nice day for an outdoor gig. Very young crowd tho - didnt see anyone over about 22-23. Even got someone ask me to buy them grog at the bottlo :eek:

I felt old. there were so many little youngings there!! i'm only 25 damnit! Ancient! haha. i don't how the little emo kids didn't die of heat exhaustion, since it was a 40 degree day!
adelaide was originally the only sideshow. and it's still the only sideshow in australia that has the QOTSA as support as far as i can see. seems like a pretty good deal for $100.

Sanity is still around but HMV is no more. In the City your best bet is probably Virgin on George St because Virgin own Sanity
Hey i still have a HMV left in queenstreet mall. Although I did notice that the whole building had gone up for lease, so i guess they are just waiting out their lease term or something...

Nah got about 6 hrs done had had sunday off. My buddy is a dyke so its mardi gras month - she had a big sat night.
Only doing sat again this weekend then will be full ones after that. Im here till about 830 tonight and seem to be getting thru it all better than expected

i'd say it's the hordern because they will do more shows....
they have multiple days between NZ V Fest... 23rd March....
Sydney V Festival is 27th.... then the next commitment was Adelaide V Fest 1st April.
SO they have 24th-26th now.... 28th free and 30th & 31st March....
plenty of room for extra shows.....
bare in mind i don't know the other shows they announced other than Sydney.
