    Nice win for the Jets

Me either. Was a nice day for an outdoor gig. Very young crowd tho - didnt see anyone over about 22-23. Even got someone ask me to buy them grog at the bottlo

Speaking of young crowds went to the new Sands Hotel in Narrabeen yesterday for a quick drink. Nothing like the old pub and the price of a beer was a joke too.

    I wish :(
Nothing's going to top the celebrations that went on after the Knights won the 97 Grand Final (250,000 people lining the roads and congregating in Civic Park) but it should be a pretty special day all the same

Rod Stewart performed at Tempus II Winery in the Hunter Valley yesterday. Between every couple of songs he would stop and give Grand Final score updates to the crowd, and after the Jets won he grabbed a Newcastle Jets soccer ball, signed it, and kicked it into the crowd :D

    Gotta love Rod :)

hopefully not before i get a ticket ;)

i'd say it's the hordern because they will do more shows....

they have multiple days between NZ V Fest... 23rd March....

Sydney V Festival is 27th.... then the next commitment was Adelaide V Fest 1st April.

    SO they have 24th-26th now.... 28th free and 30th & 31st March....

plenty of room for extra shows.....

bare in mind i don't know the other shows they announced other than Sydney.

Didn't eat there just had a beer. .. the whole place was packed as they were having some dance music thing later on in the day.

I miss the beer garden too and nearly cried when I saw that the old Sands was in the first stage of demolition. Had a nice swim yesterday though. :)

adelaide was originally the only sideshow. and it's still the only sideshow in australia that has the QOTSA as support as far as i can see. seems like a pretty good deal for $100.
Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.
