Yeah sounds like she was pretty rude.
    Unlucky, hun :(

Rude is an understatement. I was disgusted by what was coming out of her mouth. There was no way I was gonna get my head smashed in (and I would've) for a women that I only met 1/2 an hour ago, and especially as the verbal tirade that she was unleashing was just so disgustingly wrong.
Don't get me wrong, the guy was an arsehole, but nobody deserves that

1/2 and hour...1/2 a day, it wouldn't matter - it sounds like she was pretty rascist. I imagine you would've been a bit embarrassed :o (not that you did anything wrong - but to just be sitting with her). Just glad you got out of there safely and without having to lower yourself to fighting!
That aside...I bet you had a fantastic time. You guys should do it again. Grab VB cheap flights and go :D

Good stuff - we'll see you there! :D

Haha! I'd just come in to say I've had my last DECAF coffee and ciggy and off to bed :)

Hope you're feeling better later today.....it'll probably take you a few days of as much sleep as possible, to get back to feeling 100%
I was the same on Saturday, after the wedding....hardly moved from the couch all day
So glad you all had a great weekend!!!
    Sweet dreams, Rob:)

    Hi there!

Me and a friend of mine are planning to go to Australia/NZ very soon, for at least a year, so we are compiling all kind of tips that we can get.
Our english is very limited, so we are going to work at any thing that can keep us with enough money to survive and have fun. Anything!!

Wich is the coolest city to live, to have fun, to work? Can yo recomend us some cheap place to stay , or any link so we can learn about your country?
Does any of you need 2 chilean guys to work at your pub/library/record store/......????

I believe this is the best place to ask, cause we are all into PJ, so i think we kind of understand each other.

    THANKS in advance!!

    Good, good :)
She's got her first full day tomorrow
We had to go shopping the other day to buy a lunch box.....you would have thought I was buying her a diamond ring, she was so excited :D LOL!

So yeah....Tuesdays and Thursdays are Maddi's Kindy days. Has only been 8:50 - 11:45 the last 2 weeks. From now on it's 8:50 - 3:10
Thay're too young (IMO) to do full days. 1/2 of the kids in her class are still 3 yrs old - still babies.
The 4 x 1/2 days that they've always done until this year, is much better for the kids, I think.
Sad to see the amount of Mums there, rubbing their hands together and glad to be getting rid of their kids for a whole day.
How many carrots in her lunch box?

I don't have a pub or anything like that you can work in, but you could try getting a job with the Wilderness Society. It's a fundraising job for the Australian Wilderness and you are able to travel and work at the same time.

It's a beautiful place, so I recommend doing as much of the country as possible! :)

Gee I can think of nothing better than coming back to the office after a nice holiday. Already missed a week (doing 2 subjects) so Im 20-25 hrs behind already...how the heck do you make that up when meant to do another 20 this week! So depressing.

Any Pearl Jam news??? I see Ed doing a solo tour
I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

Awwwww hun :( Do you HAVE to have it caught up this week, or can you spread it over the next few weeks (eg;6-7 hours extra a week) ??

Anyhoo....welcome home and glad you guys had a great time :)

Yeah I can spread it - but still. I shoul'nt have attempted too subjects. Will be like 4 uni subjects.

Yeah holiday was good. Glad I did the 5 nights. Weather was crap but water was still great. Was definitely not as fast paced and hectic as the last trip

Gawd  I admire you, Brendan.....there's no way in hell, I could handle studying again!!! I have faith in you though - you can do it!!! :D

The November trip was definitely too short. I don't think we'd recovered from the huge trip over there before it was time to leave - let alone everything we crammed into that weekend. LOL! Just can't recover, the way I used to be able too :o

Looking forward to heading over again for Sam's 21st though!!!!!

We MUST do the dodgem cars ;)

Scared shitless. Im seriously gonna try to talk me study buddy into dropping a subject.

The dodgems were hilarious. 4 grown males with serious faces just cornering and nailing this poor kid. Sam even gave him the death stare - "Im coming to get you" look. Damn funny stuff - he took it weel tho - most wouldve cried.

I pulled back for about 30 secs and just went real slowly round the outside and watched them (after Id hit him about 4 times myself). One on each side, one behind and then just slammed from every angle. Like a pack of hounds. It was so funny but I feel terrible for thinking so nastily :D

Nope but a close mate just about finished the bastard. I mainly did CPA coz my old man is one and is my mentor. Also my study buddy preferred to do it and I wanna keep studying with her.

Whereas my dad is a CA and was like "CPA? Don't do CPA! Do CA!!!!" There's so much more work with CA though. And after all that I didn't do any of them! ha ha I'm so glad because I'm sure I would have done all that work then thought "nope, don't like accounting after all" and quit.

Man, I hate working in fucking general. I'm so sick of Business Broking it's not funny. I'm writing an ebook at the moment....if I make any money out of it I'm going to be a writer for the rest of my life. Fuck yeah! That would be my dream job. Anything where I don't have to deal with people! I HATE PEOPLE!!! :D

The old CPA vs CA debate. We actually did a subject (or couple of topics in a subject) about the two. Its a never ending story and each will claim theres is different/better.

They have been trying to combine them both for a few years and just make it one regulatory body but both are pig-headed and think there program is better than the others when in fact the course contents are close to identical.

Some exams in the CPA have small parts that are multiple choice which people say makes it easier - I friggin hate multiple choice!
