    Yes......yes, I can

    Good, good :)
She's got her first full day tomorrow
We had to go shopping the other day to buy a lunch box.....you would have thought I was buying her a diamond ring, she was so excited :D LOL!

    So yeah....Tuesdays and Thursdays are Maddi's Kindy days. Has only been 8:50 - 11:45 the last 2 weeks. From now on it's 8:50 - 3:10  :(
Thay're too young (IMO) to do full days. 1/2 of the kids in her class are still 3 yrs old - still babies.
The 4 x 1/2 days that they've always done until this year, is much better for the kids, I think.
Sad to see the amount of Mums there, rubbing their hands together and glad to be getting rid of their kids for a whole day.
  • it's already happening, isn't it ;)

OHHH what kind of lunchbox!?!? details

3.5 yr olds staying all day...? really? i wonder how they'll cope :o sounds like Maddi may fair ok in that department? awww.. but not mum :o

It is!!! :D Lucky Bianca :p

The lunch box is purple with Bratz on the lid - we couldn't find a Barbie one - but it's OK, cuz her little lunch box esky thing has Barbie on it ;)

Yeah....Maddi will be fine all day, but a lot of the other kids still have afternoon naps, so that should be interesting. In any case, weather they're 'ready' for school or not, at that age, after a morning at school, their concentration span after lunch time is just about zilch. It's far more beneficial for the child to do 1/2 days.
There's also the benefit of (when doing 4 x 1/2 days) the child getting into a routine. I'm really not happy with this change, but there's nothing we can do - it's out of the schools hands.

So i'm in bed reading The Face by Dean Koontz and i read this:

Here on December 21, the Muzak play list included no Christmas tunes. Most likely, the mall management worried that "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" or even "Jingle Bell Rock" would deeply offend those shoppers of non-Christian faith, as well as alienate any highly sensitized atheists with money to spend. Currently the system broadcasts an old Pearl Jam number.

i think cool and read on:

This particular arrangement of the song had been preformed by an orchestra with a large string section. Minus the shrieking vocal, the tune was as mind-numbing as the original, though more pleasantly so.

    What???

    Well fuck you Dean Koontz.
