    For a touring band I’d argue having a dedicated passionate fan keeping us all in the loop in near real time despite personal obligations or time zone differences is something special to be shared proudly in this community. I’d argue further that it’s less woe is me than a human echo  .
    To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

    Just curious.. why ruin the surprise? That’s my favorite part of the Pearl Jam experience. Feel like starting with IJ would have been 100x cooler if I didn’t know beforehand. 100
    songs could have been guessed as an opener before IJ tonight.

    I keep saying:

    1. They havent played arena shows in 2.5-3 years. 

    2. Theyve only played like 12 shows this year. 3 of which two regular band members had covid and werent present.

    3.  This is an assumption, but I believe that you need to build up endurance to play live music and specifically a long show. Its like playing a sport and is physically demanding.

    So all these factors prevent things like rehearsal and live reps. When that happens, obviously you cant mix up the setlist yet.  

    They are professionals and need to play mistake free. Not counting boom, theres 5 of them, which means 5 people have to play relatively mistake free. Mixing up their setlists means they need to able to pull from a catalog thats maybe 150-200 songs(including covers), 

    So yea. Itll be ok.

    Agreed. Dimi, why the heck are you looking at the set list before show?! Is it to mentally prepare yourself just in case they play “just breathe”?
