I think you are probably right about them being announced weeks ago. I don't know how much influence the California Conundrum has had, though.Weston1283 said:With the lackluster ticket sales for the May tour, you have to think any ballparks or stadiums for the Fall would have been announced weeks ago.___________________________________________

            The lackluster sales might be causing them to hold off on announcing more shows so there’s less of an inventory of tickets.1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh 20

The Fresno and Sac shows made absolutely no sense to me when I saw it. while I agree, esp since it now shows that Oak 1 ( Thurs) is impacted by diluted inventory. But Sac and Fresno are Rock towns, and perhaps it also builds the fan base in underutilized areas. Also where would they have played on those off days. Salt lake or NM? While it appears Sac is sell poorly, if you look close they are chipping away at the upper level.. Not sure why they chose to restart the tour in the west.. Im sure venue availability played a huge factor and all the arenas in the west are not hosting any playoff games. I think once CA is over, more east shows will be added.HailHailVitalogy said:The Fresno and Sac shows made absolutely no sense to me when I saw it. I wonder if they were just cautious and figured they would stay out west and if they have to reschedule a show due to a positive covid test they will still be in the area.0

Agreed. Makes you wonder internally who’s idea it was to play 10 California shows in an 8 month stretch. CA isn’t a bad market for them but certainly nowhere near the level of the East coast.HailHailVitalogy said:The Fresno and Sac shows made absolutely no sense to me when I saw it. The scrutiny the California shows are getting is hilarious to me. We've always been more laid back out west and I have a feeling most of the shows will approach being sold out as we get closer to the dates.

Could've put Vegas after Phoenix, then Portland, Seattle after Oakland. Those last 2 must be coming later.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.0

Remember all those posts from 2016-2018 (and beyond) about how the west coast never gets love? Was someone listening?

PJ's instagram story says "Gear up for Leg 1 of the Pearl Jam 2022 tour with new merch, available at each show."
So, this kind of confirms there will be a Leg 2 in 2022. Time to turn the rumor machine back on for October-December.0

Exactly. You can’t have shows spaced 4 months apart being part of the same leg unless continuous touring.PJNB said:

Since they are off to Europe after the May run of shows, September is definitely the 2nd North American US leg. I'd technically refer to it as the third leg, but that's me being a puristbootlegger10 said:

It’s kinda brutal of them to play one msg show and one other show in the entirety of the eastern HALF of the US with zero hint this is leg 1 and 1a of the giga tour and more east giga shows are on tap later. Pretend you have never had access to an easy PJ arena ticket onsale ever near you and you are now watching the constant upgrade free for all out west.0

We truly never have seen anything like the upgrade free for all.Lerxst1992 said:darthvedder said:The scrutiny the California shows are getting is hilarious to me.
