    Maybe. I don't know what the minimum amount is. 

    Been over 20 years since a center led the league in scoring. I hope Jo gets it.

    9th in scoring, 2nd in rebounding, 8th in assists (a center), #1 in player efficiency rating Highest in NBA history).
    And leading Denver to the playoffs while Jamaal Murray has missed the entire season and Porter played in all of 9 games.

    Yeah, he is the favorite at the moment and they'll probably give it to him again. 

    I think there is something to be said for how Embiid held the team together until the Harden trade though. I realize Jokic was missing Murray and Porter but the circus of the Ben Simmons situation would have derailed most teams' seasons and he absolutely refused to let that happen while putting up monster numbers every night and making his teammates better.

    I think the Nuggets being 16-25 or so against teams over .500 should come into play too.
