Two headliner artists? Hell yes! We also bought VIP all those years ago, so we get to be in the orchestra pit. Hopefully, it won't be too packed.

Yo, you want to come out to Boston and take the boy to Jack White?

It’s OK if you lose him; whoever finds him will return him toot sweet.
    Pfffft.....no
This 2022 concert run is going to burn through all my disposable income. Plus Jack White is so not worth it.

Added solo trip to PJ OKC 9/20. My wife can't make it due to work, but she was gracious enough to give me the green light to go.

jack white was the, hands down, best show I've ever seen in my life. with Paul McCartney a close second. if I knew JW would have been that amazing, I'd have paid triple the price.

I've seen the White Stripes, Raconteurs, and Dead Weather each multiple times, but I've never had the least bit of interest in his solo work. I have his solo albums, and I don't think I've ever listened to the first two more than once. I've actually never heard a single song off of Boarding House Reach, but there it sits on my shelf.

And now that I think of it, I think I only gave Lazaretto a spin to check out the gimmicky Willy Wonka shit on the pressing I have.

I should probably do some culling soon. Running out of shelf space.

I have his first solo album. Not a fan of his other two. But I'm talking about his live show.

Yes, but I generally only deal with the short-term bankruptcy and crippling anxiety of attending a live show if I like or at the very least am familiar with the artist/band listed on the marquee's work. I am not familiar with the artist/band billed as "Jack White's" work. I love the musician Jack White's work in the White Stripes, Raconteurs, and Dead Weather. I could likely name every song off all their releases as well as covers I've heard those bands play. I could also probably sing, hum, play a lot of them as well. Huge fan of all of their work!

By contrast, I could name one song (maybe two) by the artist/band billed as "Jack White," but I would be hard pressed to recognize those tunes because I'm not at all familiar with the work.

If Jack White sounded the same as the White Stripes, I would have listened to the Jack White records that I actually have listened to more than once.

no chance. I've seen the WS twice live and JW live once. JW live solo with his band blew WS out of the water. not even fucking close.

For real. The JW show I saw in 2014 absolutely one of the best concerts of my life - I'll never stop thinking about it (I can't fucking believe it was that long ago though, wtf?? Feels like maybe 3 years ago). The one I saw in 2018 wasn't as good though, because the crowd sucked.
