I don't know what if more f'd up, my connection to Google or my old brain, but either way, I cannot seem to find the answer to this simple question:  When does the voting to confirm or reject Judge Jackson?
Thanks and no need to remind me that I am this:

I’ve been married for 30 years I’m pretty sure I’d know if my wife was planning on helping and coordinating ways to overthrow a president! There’s zero chance Thomas didn’t know about his wife’s dealings!

Thanks M.  Strange that my Googling can't come up with a date.
If you are right, that leaves a week for the few of the Senators on the fence to go either way.  Sure hope she gets in.

I read somewhere that if we all asked Google the same question, most of us would get different suggestions for which link to hit.  I think my Google matrix was set up by some cruel programmer who said, "I think I'll fuck with this guy's head and set his up so his Google so that searches make little sense."
No wonder I lean toward being a bit Luddite!

Yeah I never had a doubt she'd get confirmed. Hopefully a few others, at least, follow suit.

Probably the same reason 48 Senators voted against confirming Amy Coney Barrett. She was nominated by the opposing party's president.

No this is different than that. Barrett was a staunch conservative replacing a staunch liberal and her confirmation was rushed through in a matter of weeks before Trump lost the election.

This is a liberal replacing another liberal 3 years outside of the next presidential election. These are the types of confirmations that typically garner more bipartisan support.

I think those days are over and every Supreme Court nominee vote from here on out is going to (mostly) go down party lines.

Well there are going to be some Republicans voting to confirm this time for the reasons I laid out. You can more understand them doing that under these circumstances than Democrats doing that in the Comey Barret example.

at first I was annoyed at the response being the usual "well the other side...", but you're actually kind of right. I mean, people decrying ACB for not committing to upholding Roe v Wade, yet saying that KBJ has every right to abstain from answering questions about hypothetical future rulings is pretty hypocritical.
