I really enjoyed this a lot more than I expected to!

I’m curious to watch it, but have read too many of those ^^^ types of “reviewer”comments that turns me off.

It's a good enough movie that's worth watching. Don't be turned off by those type of pompous comments.

It looses me after a while by being 2 hours of SNL-esque sketchwriting and people playing it like they are at SNL (Meryl Streep being a good example). A movie needs to be more than a clever premise and a string of joke-scenes... I mean it is over 2 hours...  DiCaprio and Lawrence are great. But they play it straight. For me, the point of the film would have worked better if it wasn't so wink-winky.

When I was in college I worked as a cashier at a movie theater, major metropolitan area, many blockbusters.   Terminator 2, Jurassic Park, all that.  No credit cards, just cash money, yo.  You could effing smoke cigarettes upstairs in the mezzanine.

People would wait 15 minutes in line, and ask me, a total stranger, if something was good...
