I Got ID! Ed, Jack, NEIL YOUNG, and Brendan O' Brien. Now that's a super group!mace1229 said:
I Got Id was the first to come to mind. Top 10 studio song for me. Just okay live.DissidentRival74 said:I Got Shit is top of my list for better studio vs. live
Others that come to mind: Breath and All Those Yesterdays
As far as live vs studio: i prefer pretty much all of their songs live, but the two that "surprised" me the most when i heard them live in person were All Night and Let the Records play.www.cluthelee.com0 -
I will say I Got Id sounded great at Ohana live and on the Touring Band 2000 DVDmace1229 said:

Yes to both. What an awesome surprise when the opening chords were played at Ohana. It's also one of my favorite PJ songs to play on guitar.bmurray06 said:

Studio over live:
RearViewMirror - not bad live but absolutely killer studio
I am Mine - just never seemed to work live for me - too many guitars maybe
Gone - really liked the song on studio version but haven't heard a good live version yet
better live than studio (most songs to me but a few that stand out to me):
Inside Job - killer live. just ok studio for me
Do the Evolution - can't get into the studio version
Not for You - not bad studio but love it live.
Present Tense - one of the best live in my opinion
Nothing as it Seems - again not bad studio but really comes across great live to me
Unemployable

I feel similarly. Like them both ways but almost always prefer live versionsGet_Right said:For me, 99.9% of the songs are better live. One song that I do not love live is light years, they seem to struggle with the tempo at times.Post edited by F Me In The Brain onThe love he receives is the love that is saved0 -

Elderly women. With the crowd it is unreal
Black. Unplugged or electic. Fuck yes
Habit, ledbetter, presnt tense, supersonic, just breathe, and all night, BUSHLEAGUER, Alive, Lightning Bolt, Grievance, Got Some, Unthogjtknown, life wasted, WWS, Inside Job, STBC, Betterman, Immortality, Release
Studio preferred:
Go, In Hiding, Who You Are, Garden, In My Tree, Hard To Imagine, You Are, DTE, Infallible, Comeback, satans bed. WMA0 -
