    I too agree that his progress was stopped. If he reaches the ball out a second earlier it's a TD.

    If they got hosed, it's becuse the official declared forward progress stopped to early.  In real time action, that looked like the right call.  He was stopped and his teammate starting pulling him.  The rule is clear that forward progress is not reviewable.

    I do hate the “stopped at the one but reached across” but his knee was never down. Forward progress stopped probably was the right call.

    Yep.  Sounds like an 8 team playoff wouldn't change the result in most years.  It would be more entertaining as more football and we could compare those teams in the 3-8 spots, but we'd still probably end up with AL and GA like we have now.

    I was bummed because ND was actually playing pretty well during the final stretch.  Finally blowing out teams they should have blown out. I don’t think they would have won but I think this was the year they may have at least competed.
