i thought you didn't include the cranberries at fist, didn't see them.  I may have replaced the dead weather with Metric though.

To be honest, I am picking this band because I don’t know anything by them. Maybe I know a song and don't know it’s them though who knows.

I personally think The Cranberries and No Doubt are the best of the bunch. Will be interesting to see the ending.

Okay I know the first one! But yeah, had no idea who it was by. I actually associate it with Marilyn Manson’s cover mostly haha

I didn’t know they were Swedish.  Love Fool was their hit over here. I assumed they were a one hit wonder.

They really evolved from that. If you listen to their later albums before breaking up... or stopping at least.

Nina Persson did some solo stuff afterwards under the namn "A camp", like this Neil Young coveeeeeeeer.

The Sounds are a good Swedish one, too.

Their first two albums are great! (I don’t have any beyond that.)

I hadn't noticed they were doing so well.  I would never have even thought of Heart being the best female fronted band, but now that I think of it, I guess they were pretty big mega-stars in the 80's.  They certainly were on the radio a lot.  Never got into their music, myself.

I hated him for ruining that song.  i refused to listen to him for a while.  Then I heard The Beautiful People and I forgave him.

I like to go into the these thinking who are the two who would make my finals, and being surprised at the actual results.

My guess is it goes down to Heart and No Doubt with Heart winning.
I think The Pretenders have a good chance of making the finals.
Agree, but based on Soundgarden being runners up in the other poll, I was thinking a 90s Ska band would go further.

I wonder if all Evan Rachel Wood needs to do is listen to “The Beautiful People” to forgive him….

Would Fleetwood Mac fit in this category?  I know Stevie Nicks joined the band later and not sure if she is considered to front the band.

Yea, I thought about them. I know Stevie and Christine McVie did a lot, but so did Lindsey Buckingham so that is why I pretty much left them off the list.

If she ain't forgiving Kobe Bryant then I think it's a no for Manson too.

Soundgarden would probably be runners up in this poll too had they been included.
