No money has been paid, so you'd settle at the desk. Looks to be about $250 total (249.90, before fees). Figured I'd throw it out there before I cancelled.

I am thinking about ditching the shuttle and finding some street parking about a mile or so away and walking. How far from the festival do I need to get before street parking isn't overwhelmed?
Never saw a good answer to this. I don’t have a ticket tonight but thinking about listening from the beach. Closest area to park would be appreciated.

Booked a room at the Hilton Garden Inn Irvine East/Lake Forest (30 minutes away) for $120 earlier today. A little further from the venue but much cheaper than the hotels that are closer.

A few years ago, some of the neighboring residential areas had security at intersections to keep concert parkers out, but if you're willing to walk there's parking to be found a few blocks a way north of the point. I don't know about from the south.

I walk 1.5 miles every day at lunchtime at work. I am fine walking a mile or more to find a place.

A heads up for anyone still looking for close-ish lodging, I kept checking and was just able to get a room at the Marriott on points, so will be cancelling a 10/1-10/3 reservation at the Residence Inn in the next minute or two...

Anyone else staying at the Best Western Capistrano, I'm also there Saturday night of Encore weekend. Haven't made plans for getting to/from Ohana so if anyone is driving to Dana Point and has a couple of spare seats (happy to wear masks etc.) or wants to join up to cut the cost for an Uber/ride-share then let me know!
