  • I tried  a re listen and some bass lines stood out really well. Got some. Johnny G. Some of the songs musically good. I don't  particularly like the albums slow songs at all and i too really don't  get on with unthought.
But  it does have a place as a great tour  with great friends.

this song is meant to be called i got shit, itshould be called i got shit tickets-hartford 06 -
  • I’m listening right and it sounds great. Force of nature, speed of sound and amonst the waves made me rock hard. It sounds really good.

didn't care much when it first came out. dig it now, put it on here and there. i lke "fun" pearl jam now. always thought they had to be serious. sometimes you're just in a good head space when you're creative.

    thanks obama.

I wouldn't say it aged like a fine wine, but I'd certainly have taken Backspacer to prom if I knew she'd look like this now.

I’d happily take a Backspacer full album show.

Backspacer is like an "interlude" to me rather than a full album, for some reason. I've grown to like it more over the years but it's a long way down my ranking list of albums. Force of Nature is awesome though.

Love Backspacer.  One of the easiest listening albums in their catalog.

Would be a very cool way to spend the first 30 min of a show.

It’s my least favorite record. Weirdly, I really like the songs most seem to dislike: Speed of Sound, Unthought Known, Just Breathe, The End. Ok and Force of Nature.
If still liking half the songs on it means we‘re pretty spoilt ;)

I wonder if they'll drop full LP shows in any more...they could do that one and squeeze Avocado or Riot Act in there too!

I honestly think the PJ forum ruined Backspacer for a lot of fans. Too much complaining because it's different than Avocado.

It's a fantastic album with a lot of great songs on it.
