So, we know a stream from nugs is obviously not happening and apparently Periscope doesn't exist anymore. Where would we find something like this happening now (in the unlikely event some kind soul streams it)?0

I actually had no idea periscope is done. Only used it for PJ shows though.

It is fascinating to me that someone can read that article and get a negative out of it or be nervous (not knocking you at all and respect your position) and I come out of it thinking 16 people thats it? Thats a win imo.0 -

I'm a pretty cautious person. I'm going because it's my favorite band and its outdoors. If the MSG show was rescheduled for now- I would be selling my ticket.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

My kid’s 4th grade class had 11 the first week of school. Unvaccinated of course. 16 in a crowd like that shows how well the vaccines actually work. This show, another show, a show here and a show there.0

Large spread in children translates imo to poor choices by the parents. Polarizing opinion, maybe, but it's not a coincidence that child infection rates are higher where adult infection rates are higher. We are their best defense.
Delta variant vaxed breatkthrough cases seem to be running around 1 in 5/20%ish. The difference being you have a far lower chance of getting severely sick/intubated and/or dying.
We're all taking measured risks with everything right now. If the idea of being at a music festival with a lot of people makes you squeamish - for one reason or another - then I would advise to stay home. If you have the vaccine, and you aren't someone who is immunocompromised, you'll be fine with near certainty. There is also a pretty good chance - more than 0% - you may get it, but you most likely won't be intubated or die.
FWIW, I bought home covid kits to test ourselves after. Also will get a PCR test after 3-4 days. We'll be masking up anytme we're in dense areas (so most of the time).
I say none of the above with offense to anyone, but just calling out the reality of all of it.
Hope everyone has an enjoyable and safe weekend.0 -
