I see  that A LOT of us are getting there, basically, just in time for Pearl Jam and hanging in the back.

Well, I'm already in line and I have the Sharpie ready to write the numbers on each of our hands. It's too late as I already wrote Last on my hand>LOL

Who wants to be next to last?>HA

    I can hardly wait!!

Only way I m heading up front is if my daughter gives my “it’s my first Pearl Jam show and I want to go closer to the stage “ look.  Fingers crossed that doesn’t happen.

I have to say, I’m shocked at the number of people trying to sell their SHN tickets for face/less than face on some of the other pages

I thought demand for the first show back in 3+ years would be insane but I guess I was wrong
Delta variant and breakthrough Covid cases for the vaccinated may be a big reason folks are shying away.
It's also a 2 day festival, where you can't just buy single day admission, that's a pain in the balls for a lot of people to get to, and where they will play 2/3 of an arena show.
It’s going to be a long day for me. Taking the train to arrive in Asbury Park around 6:00, PJ goes on 8:30-10:30, then I hope to walk back to the station to catch the last train back at 11:57. Otherwise, next train is 5:43 a.m. Going solo.

    p.s. ‘I ain’t gots no balls’ ;)
@Renfield Remember that train doesn't go directly to nyc, you have to switch in Long Branch.
With PJ set ending at 1030pm it seems quite likely to make the 1157pm train to Long Branch. The Long Branch to NYP train leaves at 1218am.

The festival website (https://support.seahearnowfestival.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404702273940-Public-transportation) says "Note that the 11:57 train from Asbury Park connects with the 12:18am train from Long Branch"

Just trying to understand this - do we need to switch trains? If so, is there a chance we would miss the train from Long Branch to NYP, or does it wait for passengers to switch to this train from the connecting train?

Yes you have to switch physical trains. Ap to long branch is a different rail size than long branch to penn.

There should be a waiting period if it’s a planned connection. I’m hoping to walk to the train station. Transportation at the end of the show sounds impossible. And I’m staying until pj stops playing. I’ll take the 5:43 a.m. if I have to.

Did anyone get confirmation of the $10 bonus for attaching a credit card to the wrist band?

Does the return ticket from Asbury Park station to Penn Station be bought way in advance? Is it possible for it to be too crowded and not be able to get on it? Finally made the decision to attend this show and staying in NYC seems way better than trying to get a hotel near the festival.

  • hey so the website says we have to bring a "printed copy" of our vaccination record. I am interpreting that to mean we ca make a photocopy of our card so we don't have to bring our original. Anyone else have different information?

I was wondering about this too. I have a printed out copy that I emailed myself and I don't really want to bring the vaccination
card if I don't have too. Sorry dumb question, but does anyone know if I can bring a portable charger with me too? I did not see it on the list of things that we can and can not bring. I tried emailing them, but I never heard back.

The communication has been terrible. Pretty sure I saw you can use a photocopy version of it. I'm 80% sure of that. Might want to check SHN's twitter. I think I saw them respond to someone with this question. At any rate, it's preposterous to think we should all be walking around with our original vax cards, especially at at place where you might be partaking in consuming things that leave your judgment less than stellar.

Hopefully Ohana and the Encore send out wristbands sooner than SHN did as USPS seems to be delayed again
