I am surprised that the show in Indy doesn't have any health restrictions yet. They seem like a band that would have them in place. The venue isn't stopping artists from requesting it, because the Psychedelic Furs show a couple of weeks before that in the same building requires a negative test or proof of vaccination.

Yes! Super excited when I saw my email. Love the added songs. Curious about the newly cut vocals. Will those be the versions from The Fine Print collection, or new? Also, love Patterson’s liner notes! Plus Isbell and Cooley!

The newly cut vocals for PPotMoon and SoIwoJima are new.
The 3 songs that are newly added were previously released on The Fine Print.

You see me empty, Sir, do not pause and inquire, simply assume and refill.

That would be nice! There is a dvd out there called The Dirty South that was at the 40 Watt and kind of a prerelease celebration of the album.

Also, Bandcamp has some pretty good official digital bootlegs of the last few years of Homecoming shows on there.

I’m a little late to the party, even though I’ve been an Isbell fan for years. Anyway, the Drive By’s are doing Southern Rock Opera at a local venue. I’ve been playing the crap out of that album. I’d never even listened to it before. It’s fucking crazy! Really looking forward to the show.

I gotta listen to the Dirty South, too. I’m also late on that. I’m a fucking loser….but trying to make up for that.

    DBT is the best!!!!

They are my number two after PJ. Definitely listen to The Dirty South and Decoration Day. After that, Brighter Than Creation’s Dark and American Band are top notch.

Finally, the three disc It’s Great to Be Alive live show is one of the best. Jeez, also, the two disc Cooley, Patterson, Isbell live show is stellar too.

DBT is always a good show. And they tour all the time!

Hard to beat the DBT. I’ve seen them around a dozen times and they bring every night. Caught their “Dirt Underneath” all acoustic show a few years ago which is still a top five show for myself. Only time in my life I waited outside before doors to get on the rail.

Their doing a two-night stand here in the Twin Cities and will likely catch one of them.

For albums I’d go with: Dirty South, Southern Rock Opera, Brighter than Creation’s Dark, American Band, Decoration Day, English Oceans, The Fine Print and the Big To-Do. All their other albums have some real gems as well.

    Enjoy the Rock Show!!!
