May I ask which facebook group or page? I'll go look at that discussion. I don't have New Brunswick blood, but also not California blood, something in between I suppose.PJNB said:
I have heard people say it gets cold at night and bring a sweater. I am not myself. 60F is not sweater weather where I am from breeze or not so I really think it depends what you are used to. On the Facebook page the same question was asked and all locals I saw said bring a sweater.RiotAct10 said:Ohana veterans... I had a question about clothing. Obviously I will watch the weather report as we get closer, but I just wondered, how do you usually dress and how does it feel? Is there a breeze from the ocean? Does it get chilly when the sun goes down? Any advice would be appreciated. Only 3 more days until Ohana days start showing up in the 14 day forecast!words seem so out of place.

That should take you to one of the discussions. @curmudgeoness could probably give some advice too on the matter if memory serves me right with a discussion we had in the past.0 -
Obviously better to bring one and not need it but the only time I remember putting on my hoodie in 4 total nights was the last hour or two of Sunday in ‘18. And that was sitting at the very top of the bleachers with a strong ocean breeze. Temperature was otherwise pleasant- T-shirt, shorts, flops the rest of the time. Highs were only mid 70s, but the sun was always out.RiotAct10 said:Ohana veterans... I had a question about clothing. If you need something warm in a pinch, there’s always the merch tents but the longer you wait, the more likely it’s Cavetown and not EV.
*Definitely* bring sunscreen0 -
Thanks! I didn't know about that group.PJNB said:

That should take you to one of the discussions. @curmudgeoness could probably give some advice too on the matter if memory serves me right with a discussion we had in the past.I think this is a highly personal matter. I'll note that this year has been cooler, grayer, and damper than normal ("June Gloom" extending from some time in April to today, at the very least). Sun, if there is sun, will be hot. Breeze coming off the ocean (the venue is right on the beach) will be cool (if Santa Ana winds are blowing, that's a different matter). Weather here is such that while it might be sunny and warm mid-day, toward evening the marine layer builds, wind picks up and cooler, damper, cloudier conditions set in as the marine layer settles over coastal areas. So, we've gone every year, sometimes as locals, sometimes as tourists (we move a lot). I freeze my a$$ off every time -- bought a giant wool poncho the first year, wore four layers plus a beach towel in 2019. My husband sat beside me in shorts and a t-shirt and shook his head.I absolutely recommend a jacket or hoodie for everyone for evening use. This is a damp, breezy 60F we're talking about. Men are probably okay like that. I'm female, early 50s, low body fat, wonky circulation (Raynaud's). I'll be wearing something warm and most likely will have convertible gloves with me, since my fingers turn yellow below 65F.If you are female, of a certain age, and tend to run a bit cold and/or are rather lean, I advise planning for weather that's a bit cooler than what the forecast suggests. Also remember that you're going to be sitting or standing around most of the time, so you won't be staying as warm as you would be if you were hiking, playing sports, being active. All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.0 -
Are lockers worth it? I figure it would be a good place to put sunscreen, a light sweatshirt and any merch I pick up instead of having to carry it around or holding a clear bag all day.0

my wristbands have been delivered0

Anyone else having issues registering their wristband? First time doing this, double checked my typing... or should I try registering it closer to the event?
Update: Aaaaaand that answers my question.

Anyone else getting their wristband at will call? I didn’t remember I chose that option when I bought the tickets, but seems that’s what I picked.

What was the answer? Simply that it is not active yet? I received mine as well but didn’t try yettschav said:Anyone else having issues registering their wristband? First time doing this, double checked my typing... or should I try registering it closer to the event?

For us Canadians, it was the only way.

My ticket buddy can't go, so I posted a weekend GA ticket in Lost Dogs in case anyone is looking...0

I've bought a hoody on a couple occasions when it got breezy, but it's usually plenty warm. The lockers are great but last time I couldn't fit a poster tube in there, so there's that.0

UPS tracking says label created. This hasn’t changed in a week now. Starting to worry since others are getting theirs.1998: Pitt
