It is this day to day "are the shows on, are the shows going to be off" type of stuff, along with the looming possibility of added mandates on top of proof of vax (i.e. masks outdoors) that are sucking the fun and enjoyment out of this, for me anyway.  I know many others feel differently.  Being a little over a month away from Ohana I should be amped, especially after a 3 year hiatus.  Hopefully I get to that point eventually.

I hear you. I'm not excited about anything the way I normally would be.

It is a stressful time for sure. Whether it's stressing that shows are going to happen or stressing about getting a positive test and not being allowed to flying back to Canada it seems to never end. One thing for certain though. When I go to my next PJ concert it will be a celebration.

2 years?  who really knows?  could be 5 or more.  the longer people refuse to get a shot the longer it goes on.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

Beginning October 17th, anyone attending a concert at DMV venues including The Anthem, 9:30 Club, Merriweather Post Pavilion, and Lincoln Theatre will need to provide proof of full vaccination status to enter: cos.lv/lupB30rRxfa

Additional safety considerations come from Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser. Guests must wear a mask at all times inside of The Anthem, 9:30 Club, and Lincoln Theatre, unless they are eating or drinking. This rule does not extend to Merriweather Post Pavilion, which is outside and 30 miles away in Maryland.

Kings of Leon had to cancel their show yesterday same day.

It’s why traveling far distances for shows right now is so risky; you may get the ticket refunded but not airfare or hotel.

If you’re a local it’s ok but anyone traveling right now is taking a gamble.

True, if you go to Ticketmaster and check your region, there are shows both small and bigger still happening. I was surprised how many shows are going on.

I'm on my 4th booster shot and these shows can't happen anytime prior to my 7th booster. Please comply.
Judging from your posts, I REALLY hope they check your vax card & ID at Ohana...

I'm just messing around.  I've been vax'd since March.  Completely on board with the requirements.

For what it's worth, the NBA schedule came out earlier this afternoon and as a result of Knick home games, Rangers home games and concerts already scheduled in March 2022, MSG is currently open for the following dates in March:
    3/1, 3/3, 3/5, 3/7, 3/8, 3/9, 3/10, 3/11, 3/12, 3/17, 3/19, 3/21, 3/23, 3/26, 3/29, 3/31.

While it's not perfect, things have been narrowed down quite a bit, if March 2022 is when the rescheduled dates will happen...

Kings of Leon rescheduled a bunch of dates. I can’t make the new date now I have to worry about getting a refund. Fuck this. I’m not buying any tickets to any upcoming shows. Everything is such a mess. So happy I got to go to Foos at MSG earlier this year.

My concern is I have Nashville tickets.  Tennessee is not doing well with COVID now and what if the venue doesn't agree to requiring proof of vaccination even as late as March next year.  I can see some of the Southern and Southwest shows being cancelled because of venue issues.  Interesting to see how it plays out.

Some friends of mine got hosed as well.  Supposed to see them play tonight and found out the day of the show around 1:00.  Sitters lined up for kids, transportation lined up to take a few couples there and back, the works.  This is the new reality of live music I suppose.
