    I’m afraid it’s really worse than people being willing to lie, cheat & steal if it feels good - that kind of implies that they understand & acknowledge that they’re doing something wrong but are willing to do it anyway. 

    What chills me about seeing all of these unvaxxed dead-enders is that a pretty huge proportion of our society appears to have entirely lost the notion that they might owe any duty of care whatsoever to their neighbors and fellow citizens, even in the face of a deadly external threat that can only be addressed by collective action. The reason Nick’s small army of scumbag friends are so cavalier about their fugazi vax cards is that they see it entirely as a matter of personal risk - “I’m not afraid of it” / “I think I already had it” / whatever - rather than a public health issue that affects other people. And if that’s still your outlook after almost a year and a half of this shit, you are truly a hopeless case. And there’s literally millions of these people out there.

    We will all know dozens before long. I won’t tolerate it, I will do what’s necessary should someone feel the need to disclose that to me. And anyone who knows me, even in a casual acquaintance setting would be able to tell I’m not one they should confide in regarding falsifying vaccinations. If you do not get vaccinated, fine (not really), but then don’t effing lie… you don’t get to participate if the rules state must be vaccinated.

    I wonder how many concerts, sporting events etc will be doing only unvaccinated events? Not a single one!

    Sadly we should have seen this coming… when wearing a mask was an issue for some. No matter, here in NYC, it was state, city & company mandated. People refused to wear masks. My office had problems from the day we were allowed to go back to work. Same problems now for the unvaccinated, actually worse, forged fake vax cards.🤬  Are the ones using fake cards wearing masks at work, school, concerts?
    I do understand that not everyone will get vaccinated for certain reasons. I don’t subscribe to the political or loss of freedom reasons🙄 It seems serious fines need to issued, in addition to expulsion from colleges, concerts, whatever the scenario. Obviously I’m vaccinated (J&J) and can’t wait if/when they say I need a booster shot to get in line.

    I’m in retail and people like to talk even when no one is asking them to.  When the Knicks, nets. And islanders were in the playoffs, that’s when people rushed to get the fake cards. And it’s also funny because I know republicans who are vaccinated and Dems who aren’t. Around here it seems very random and surprising when you find out who and who isn’t vaccinated.

    so is the closet airport NEWARK? and is it really an hour away by car? sounds like a nightmare. I'm already going to Ohana and I was thinking about maybe swinging this, but sh*tty two star hotels are going for $500 a night. I think it will be just Ohana for me this year. 
    can someone confirm the airport situation?

    I’m flying into Philly because it seemed easier. Staying about 20 minutes from AP. Hotel price wasn’t bad. Not sure if I’ll drive or Uber from there. Rental car was $130 for about 30 hours.

    You can fly into Atlantic City. Time is likely the same but no where near the traffic. From AC to Asbury is about 45 minutes. All Garden State parkway @Melzombie

    You can fly into Atlantic City. Time is likely the same but no where near the traffic. From AC to Asbury is about 45 minutes. All Garden State parkway @Melzombie
    I would say definitely closer to an hour from ac to ap.  You can also fly into Philadelphia or Trenton.  If you have big bucks fly into allaire.  
    I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

    If you’re hesitant or immune system is compromised in any way, I’d stay away. There will definitely be:
    1)fake vaccine cards
    2) false negatives 

    I hate to be negative but these are the unfortunate realities right now. Documents have been forged since….. forever. Vaccine cards are no different and fake ones are literally everywhere. As soon as NY mandated them for gyms, restaurants etc, people rushed out to get fake cards INSTEAD OF DOING THE RIGHT THING AND GETTING VACCINATED. It’s insane and frustrating. But it’s also reality.
