    could you imagine if tampa became “the city of champions”? yeah, me neither.

    boston looked pretty sloppy last night (to my less than expert eye).

    The Isles made the semis last year.

    I like their team and am rooting for them, but I don't like Trots much.  
    They have two good goalies and lots of guys to root for 

    As long as it is not the Golden Shower Knights, I am good.  Impressive the way Tampa flipped the switch

    Last year didn't feel like this and they didn't look this good.

    Last time I enjoyed them this much Pat LaFontaine played for them...

    The Isles have a strong lead blue line pair, but it thins out after that.  I'm biased, but I think they will struggle against matching up line over line with Tampa's depth at forward.  By contrast, Tampa can roll out two excellent pairings and then a third one that is strong (Savard and Rutta).  Anything can happen, but on paper Tampa has a clear advantage.  NY will try to beat up Tampa, but that's not easy either.

    Agree that Tampa has a clear advantage (over everyone) on paper.....but plenty of times the better team on paper can lose the series.

    The Bruins are just so reliant on that top line for everything.  If you recall in the series against Tampa last year, they barely scored at all 5-5.  All the production was on the PP.  This series was the same.
