Not a bad idea.  Haven't seen that one in ages.  And I just looked it up and noticed that, like The Hustler, The Color of Money is also based on a novel by Walter Tevis (as is, strangely enough, The Man Who Fell to Earth!)

That’s one of my favorites, as is Glover’s initial scene. That one hit home big.

in 1991, when I saw Grand Canyon originally I loved it, but I would have loved it more and I probably would have related more, if I had seen it in for the 1st time in 2001 or 2011.

Living in LA, what happened was no surprise. Glover’s interaction with the assholes spoke for so many.

    Army of the Dead

Not too bad. Think Ocean's 11 meets The Living Dead. Characters were pretty stereotypical and the plot was for the most part predictable.

We watched some of that last night. I say “some”, because after an hour and a half, we thought, “Still another HOUR?” and abandoned it

It was a fun(ish) watch but not two and a half hours’ worth.

That is what stopped me from pressing play.  It looks like it could be entertaining but that seemed a bit long.
