    Batman Begins
So much better than The Dark Knight. This is a hill I'm willing to die on.
My rankings for that trilogy are:

    The Dark Knight Rises
    Batman Begins
    The Dark Knight

I never wanted to watch any of them ever again (or any Christopher Nolan filmed gimmick, for that matter), but my son picked it for his movie night.

Good news is he's still firmly with me on Team Burton.

I hope I don't have to watch the other two Nolans again.
Wow that's interesting. I never seem to come across anyone that prefers Batman Begins to The Dark Knight, let alone someone that prefers Dark Knight Rises to both.

For me, the only thing about The Dark Knight that works is The Joker. Frankly, they should've done more with him and gotten rid of Two-Face. And some of The Dark Knight is pretty laughable. The dumbest moment being when Joker is locked in the interrogation room, but with an idiot detective in there with him to inevitably be forced by Joker to let him out. Derp!
Batman Begins is a slow build and I like it a lot. First time I saw it was on a plane ride back from Tahiti after our honeymoon so it may get sentimental points for that in my memory. Rewatched it a few weeks ago and still think it holds up. The only problem was Katie Holmes as Rachel. Maggie was a much better pick in DK and I wish she had been in the first one. Bad casting. Oldman and Freeman are great, but they should have done more with Cilian as Scarecrow. He was a grade "A" creep in that role. Dark Knight was good because of Ledger's scenes and his improvs. DKR was ok. I still prefer Keaton and the Burton franchise films (Batman Returns for the win!), but Nolan and Bale's entries are the only other watchable versions.
    It's a hopeless situation...

Such a bizarre ending!  I loved seeing them put Steven Wright in it!
