    Yep...and even after that "classy" move the seller was still able to pull away with a $600 profit from a 10C poster sold less than 5 months ago on this very site!!  Please give the additional $600 you made on this poster to OYR as well please! Thanks in advance!

    The OP is a collector and all around good dude... he’s helped me track down a couple of very tough posters in the past so I can speak from experience.  

    You’re assuming he got it directly from the club and not in the secondary  market where he paid a premium. You’re also assuming the sale was for the asking price and not a best offer.  And I can almost guarantee any money from this sale went to buy another poster.  No one would really care if someone traded one high priced poster for another. But you can’t always find a match for a trade even if the values are the same so sometimes you need to have cash to bridge the gap. And if he traded the poster straight up there would have been no cash for a donation to OYR.  So it’s kind of a win-win. 

    Posters are a highly collectible item right now and the market is what it is. The band knows it, the artists know it and we know it.  It’s not really fair to single one person out who made a really nice gesture when he really didn’t have to make the donation.

    In the spirit of telling other people what to do with their money, maybe you could match his donation. $200 would catch you up to him and give you a leg to stand on while challenging for more.
